Pyongyang, May 10 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, sent a congratulatory message to Bashar Al-Assad, president of the Syrian Arab Republic who is general secretary of the Baath Arab Socialist Party, on May 6.
The message said:
I extend warm congratulations to you on your re-election as general secretary at an enlarged meeting of the Central Committee of the Baath Arab Socialist Party.
Your continued assumption of general secretary of the Baath Arab Socialist Party is an expression of the full support and invariable trust of the leadership and all the members of your Party.
