Pyongyang, March 9 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, sent a congratulatory message to Bashar Al-Assad, president of the Syrian Arab Republic, on March 8.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un in the message extended warm congratulations to the president and, through him, to the Syrian people on the occasion of the 61st anniversary of the March 8 Revolution in Syria.
Rendering invariable support and solidarity to the Syrian people in their just struggle to defend the sovereignty of the country and achieve territorial integrity under the leadership of the Syria's Baath Arab Socialist Party headed by the Syrian president, the message expressed belief that the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries would grow stronger. -0-
