The Association for the Study of Songun Politics(ASSPUK) , the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea (BGSJI) and the Korean Friendship Association of the UK ( KFA UK) issued the following joint statement in support in the press statement of the DPRK Ministry of National Defence that was made on the 4th of March ;
On the 4th of March the US imperialists and 'Republic of Korea ' puppets started the 10 day 'Freedom Shield War exercises which will last until the 14th of March . The exercises will be joined by troops from US vassal states such as Australia, Britain, the Philippines and Thailand . A total of 48 field drills are planned .
As the press statement of the DPRK Ministry of National Defence points out "The large-scale war drills staged by the world's biggest nuclear weapons state and more than 10 satellite states against a state in the Korean peninsula where a nuclear war may be ignited even with a spark, can never be called "defensive".
The DPRK Ministry of National Defence denounces the Freedom Shield drill as it is a rehearsal for invading People's Korea and colonizing the northern part of Korea. Freedom Shield is aimed at overthrowing the socialist system of the DPRK.
Moreover the DPRK Ministry of National Defence warns that the US imperialists and south Korean puppets will pay a high price for their adventurous and bellicose actions .
We also condemn the US imperialists and south Korean puppets . We feel ashamed that British forces are taking part in Freedom Shield and denounce it .British forces should not participate and should be withdrawn.
We call for Freedom Shield to be stopped and cancelled at once .
