Pyongyang, November 12 (KCNA) -- A session of the Permanent Commission of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly (SPA) of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea was held.
The session brought up for discussion the issues of amending and supplementing the laws of the DPRK on education, national economic plan, protection of useful animals and landscaping and adopted relevant decrees.
The Law on Education further detailed such issues arising in developing the country's education as the improvement of the contents and methods of education, the drawing up and execution of educational programme and the production and supply of educational equipment and materials.
Contents of some articles of the Law on the Plan of National Economy, including the improvement of the planning of the national economy, the organization of work for fulfilling the national economic plan and the requirements to be observed in reviewing the national economic plan, were newly stipulated.
The Law on the Protection of Useful Animals reflects the contents arising in protecting and propagating useful animals, including the principle of protecting useful animals, the inspection and registration of new species of animals.
The relevant articles of the Law on Landscaping were further detailed. -0-
