 London 23rd of December Juche 111(2022)
 The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK),the British Group  for the Study of the Juche Idea (BGSJI),the UK Korean Friendship Association( KFA UK) and the British Committee for Peace and Reunification on the Korean Peninsula (BSCPRKP) issued a joint statement supporting the press statement ,issued on the 23rd of December of the spokesman of the Foreign Ministry (FM ) of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK ) concerning the so-called 'presidential statement ' of the UN Security Council (UNSC );

Although the attempts of the US imperialists to impose more UNSC sanctions on People's Korea have been thwarted , the reactionary US imperialists are cooking a new nefarious scheme to have the UNSC issue a so-called 'Presidential statement ' that will condemn the DPRK for exercising its independent and just right to self-defence . This is an intolerable provocation against the dignified DPRK .

The spokesman of the DPRK Foreign Ministry makes it clear that if the UNSC issues such a 'presidential statement ' it will be a negation of the DPRK's basic sovereignty  and interference its internal affairs . Many countries have carried out ICBM and nuclear tests but the UNSC has not questioned their right to do so .  As it pointed out "to usurp the right to self-defence, the core of national sovereignty, is the gravest challenge to a sovereign state, as it means that it would not recognize the sovereignty of the DPRK, and a very dangerous act that the DPRK has to counter with action".

We condemn the US imperialists for basically trying to deny the DPRK's right to existence using the UNSC as a regime change tool .

DEFEND PEOPLE'S KOREA !
