The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK (ASSPUK),the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE) , the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) and British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification (BSCPRKP)  today issued a joint statement in support of the DPRK Foreign Ministry statement of the 10th of October;
  Following the successful self-defensive missile test of the DPRK , a number of countries including the UK , France and Germany at the instigation of the US held a meeting of the UN Security Council (UNSC) behind closed doors and adopted a statement faulting the DPRK for its legitimate self-defensive measure but said nothing about a recent ICBM test of the US . Our organisations strongly condemn the UK and other EU countries for unjustly blaming the DPRK over its self-defensive missile test and support the DPRK's right to self-defence
 Meanwhile negotiations between the DPRK and US that were held in Stockholm collapsed without any result being achieved due to the obstinate and anachronistic attitude of the US.
The DPRK Foreign Ministry warns that although the DPRK has taken a patient and restrained approach to the issue  of the US ICBM , the DPRK cannot forever keep its patience and may reconsider the measures that it took to build confidence with the US such as the suspension of ICBM tests .
 We support the DPRK's right to take whatever options need to defend its supreme interests.
