Pyongyang,
February 14 (KCNA) -- It is so queer to see the south Korean
authorities getting vocal about the improvement of the north-south
relations whenever an opportunity presents itself.
The south Korean chief executive has constantly blustered that it is
the "preconditions of dialogue" to "have firm security and perfect
capability for counteraction" while crying out for "change" of someone.
On Feb. 4 and 5 the south Korean authorities let loose a string of
coarse invectives that the DPRK keeps slandering and threatening the
south, not responding to their proposals for dialogue and exchanges.
At the 48th central integrated defense meeting they made such
venomous outpourings that despite their lots of efforts for the
improvement of the north-south ties, the north keeps developing nuclear
weapons and long-range ballistic missiles pursuant to the line on
simultaneously developing the two fronts. They called for getting "firm
military posture for counteraction" and "deterring the north's
provocation".
This is a revelation of the double-dealing attitude of the south
Korean chief executive who has often trumpeted about "creating
conditions for unification and resumption of dialogue".
Like master, like man. The puppet authorities chime in with her
words by crying out for "achieving unification under liberal democracy
at the risk of their lives in 2015" and "making appropriate
counteraction in line with the U.S. 'additional sanctions against the
north'".
The military warmongers challenged the DPRK's demand for halting the
war exercises, by asserting that "the exercises have nothing to do with
the atmosphere of dialogue" and "the joint military exercises will go
on as long as the south has an alliance with the U.S."
The puppet Ministry of Unification openly encourages anti-DPRK
leaflet scattering operations of diehard conservative organizations,
claiming that "leaflet scattering operations pertain to basic right and
no coercion should be involved even though they may be a stumbling block
in the way of improving the south-north relations." Shortly ago, the
puppet Human Rights Committee openly adopted a resolution which said
that anti-DPRK leaflet-scattering operations "should not be checked as
it can be restriction on the freedom of expression".
All facts prove that "dialogue" and "unification" touted by the
south Korean authorities are nothing but a smokescreen to cover up their
confrontational nature and that they whet the sword for achieving
"unification of social systems" behind the scene.
The north-south relations can never improve as long as confrontation is pursued behind the call for dialogue.
The history of confrontation between the fellow countrymen still
persists and Korea has not yet been reunified though 70 years have
passed since the division of the nation. This is attributable to the
south Korean authorities' despicable attitude of acting quite contrary
to their words.
Now the puppet forces' moves for confrontation with the DPRK are
becoming a fuse that can fuel mistrust and hostility between the fellow
countrymen and cause an uncontrollable situation in the relations
between the north and the south all of a sudden.
The south Korean authorities should not misjudge the sincere desire
of the DPRK to write a new history of the improvement of the north-south
relations this year.
Only a total ruin will await traitors going against the desire and interests of the nation. -0-
