U.S. Policy of Strength Will Bring It Disgrace and Destruction: Rodong Sinmun

Pyongyang, April 27 (KCNA) -- If the U.S. persistently pursues the policy of strength on the Korean peninsula, it will get disgrace and destruction only, Rodong Sinmun Sunday says in an article.
    The article goes on:
The nearly two month-long Key Resolve and Foal Eagle, joint military drills frantically staged by the U.S. and south Korean puppets, caused serious consequences. The situation on the peninsula plunged into a catastrophic phase again as we had warned. The bud for improving the north-south relations and detente that began to develop along with the spring season was nipped out.
The joint military drills were comprehensive ones which set sky, land, sea, space, computer network and mentality of people as war fields and mobilized all branches of arms and services of the U.S.-led allied forces including nuclear strike means and psychological plot-breeders. They were not defensive ones, but a preliminary war and nuclear test war, which were escalated aiming at a surprise attack and complete occupation of important targets of the DPRK.
The U.S. botched the peace process on the Korean peninsula by kicking up such nuclear racket. This provided a pretext for armed buildup in Northeast Asia and Asia-Pacific region.
The U.S. in collusion with south Korean puppet forces persist in the nuclear racket against the DPRK. This will compel the DPRK to further strengthen the political and military offensive to cope with it.
If the U.S. escalates the political and military oppression of the DPRK in disregard of its warning, the DPRK will take stronger measures for self-defence.
The groups of Park Geun Hye should clearly understand that their desperate efforts to bring a fratricidal war by siding with the U.S. are as foolish an act as crawling into a pigsty with pumpkins on one's head. -0-
