UK KFA slams Foreign Secretary 's Remarks

UK KOREAN FRIENDSHIP ASSOCIATION
London 8th of April

The UK Korean Friendship Association roundly condemns the  hostile remarks of Foreign Secretary of the UK slandering the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and actually fanning hysteria and tension.
The Foreign Secretary should realise that the statements made  by different DPRK bodies such as the KPA Supreme Command , KPA General Staff and DPRK Foreign Ministry are  are neither threat nor provocation against someone but warnings to deter aggressors. It is the US that keeps 37,000 troops stationed in south Korea and has together with its south Korean client state carried out a whole series of deeply provocative war manuevres in south Korea chiefly "Foal Eagle" and "Key Resolve " amongst a number of war exercises. What country can tolerate aggressive military exercises by outside powers on its doorstep. How would the Foreign Secretary feel if the DPRK, or Iran or Argentina carried out naval exercises in the English channel or in the Medway estuary ?
As to talk of "frenetic " rhetoric  the only thing that has been frenetic has the hysteria and lies of the Western media, including the British media  who have done their best fan war fever clamouring about an imminent outbreak of war.
The DPRK is a most stable and united society , in fact probably the most internally stable country in the world with virtually no crime and good public order. The people are united around Marshal Kim Jong Un  the Workers' Party of Korea and the Juche idea. The DPRK has no need whatsoever to play up any external threat. The threat faced by the DPRK is very real as the US has delayed the DPRK along with a number of other countries a target for a pre-emptive nuclear strike  and has even deployed B1, B2A and B52 nuclear bombers to Korea.
Finally we in UK KFA wish to reiterate our long standing demanding the UK abandons its hostile policy towards the DPRK and develops friendly relations based on independence.
