Rodong Sinmun Calls for Foiling Imperialists′ Ideological and Cultural Poisoning

Pyongyang, January 30 (KCNA) -- The world progressive people are required to wage a positive struggle to decisively foil the imperialists' ideological and cultural poisoning by seeing through its vicious nature, danger and grave consequences. Rodong Sinmun Monday says this in a bylined article.
Bourgeois ideology, culture and the decadent way of life are the most reactionary and unpopular ones as they represent and protect the interests of the capitalist class and reflect their class stand and way of life. This amounts to very dangerous ideological virus making the people mentally crippled and morally degenerated, the article notes, and goes on:
When people are taken in by bourgeois ideology and culture, they will be reduced to ungrateful snobs bereft of faith who neither know the party and leader nor their country and people. Consequently, the power, army and people will be torn apart.
Bourgeois ideological and cultural poisoning has a very harmful impact on the young people, in particular.
It is by no means fortuitous that the imperialists spend the bulk of their state budget to this project and mobilize a lot of manpower for it, openly blustering they can bring down through bourgeois ideological and cultural poisoning the countries which they fail to do even with nukes.
The historical experience proves that if people fail to strictly guard against the poisoning by all hues of unsound ideas and culture spread by the imperialists and wage a fierce struggle against it, they can never check it, concludes the article. -0-
