'The Korean Revolution, a revolution of freedom and human liberation' by Alan Bolon- KFA UK organisation secretary and editor "People's Korea Today "

The Korean Revolution was born from the poverty and misery of millions of ordinary peasants and workers, from the injustice and anger of the proletariat, from the terrible exploitation of the masses and terrible oppression, from the bloodshed in battle by guerrilla heroes. It was born from the great thoughts and bold dreams of a man with a brilliant and exceptional mind, with a loving, sincere, and steel - hardened heart of a warrior – the great General Kim Il Sung. It was born in vast expanses of forest valleys and the mountain slopes of Mount Paektu. In poor villages occupied by cruel Japanese imperialists who imposed exploitation and humiliation. It was born from the suffering in prisons where the first fighters – the Korean communists – died, and from the bravery of the soldiers of the People's Army in the battles of the Great War of Liberation against the Yankee aggressors. And then it took root in the factory halls of Pyongyang, the shipyards of Namphu, and the rice fields of cooperative farms. It was born from the will and aspirations of the great and proud Korean nation

From the first words of Juche among guerrilla fighters in Kalun in 1930 to the present day, it has captivated millions. Inspired by the genius of its leaders, Kim Il-sung and Kim Jong-il, the will of the Communist Party and the power of millions have swept through Korea like a storm. It has shaken the foundations of international imperialism and blazed the people's red star of freedom. It has defeated and swept away first Japanese tyranny and then Yankee aggression. It has brought freedom to oppressed peasants and workers, freeing Korean society from the shackles of capitalism.

The Korean Revolution has opened a new era in human history. It has established man as the master and leader – the independent creator and transformer of the world.

This displeased the American imperialists, whose audacity recognized only exploitation and the subservience of others to themselves. Armed, mercenary hordes of genocidal thugs from the American army descended upon it. They sought to destroy the freedom and independence of the young Korean state. All of Yankee capital united in the fight against the young Korean republic. Persevering. Unwavering, invincible by the power of the Juche idea. By the genius of Kim Il Sung and the will to freedom - the will to freedom and independence. Starved and destroyed, yet victorious, it persevered and strengthened. To the glory and happiness of the masses and to the terror of their oppressors.

Through the efforts of the great minds and hard-working hands of the Korean worker, she lifted the country out of poverty and centuries of backwardness. She liberated humanity in its infinite potential, as manifested in the Juche idea, and liberated the working masses to collective effort, filled with enthusiasm and a love of work for the good of all. She awakened within the Korean people talents and skills stifled for centuries by the occupation of the Japanese tyrants. She roused the people to creative competition, to the great construction of their own future.

She turned work into a matter of honor, heroism, and glory for every citizen of the democratic and people's republic. She roused the masses to an assault on science and knowledge, unleashing a true and genuine love of humanity. She unleashed a true patriotic love for one's country, created by the people and belonging to the people. In the name of love for it, she taught hatred for its enemies, for its American oppressors. She taught love for the international proletariat, for the oppressed and exploited, for the working masses of all countries. She taught true patriotism, she taught proletarian internationalism.

It handed over factories to workers and gave fields to peasants. Led by the Communist Party, its great leader Kim Il Sung, and countless Juche fighters, it flourished under Kim Il Sung's rule, under the rule of people's democracy.

Smoke rose from factory chimneys, the rustle of rice fields and the golden grain harvest of cooperative agricultural labor, new cities and hydroelectric power plants were growing on steep mountain slopes, and the land of victorious socialism was being strengthened by five-year plans and the hurricane of the workers' race unleashed by Chollima. It knew no unemployment, no crises. A bastion of socialism and peace, a beacon of victory and happiness. The pride and hope of the peoples of the world, against the allied forces of global imperialism, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea grew and grew powerful.

And once again, the armed hordes of war maniacs led by Truman and Eisenhower, bred for this purpose by Yankee capital, marched against the Korean people. American tanks gnawed into Korean soil, tore it apart with their claws, razed cities and villages, and murdered the defenseless population. The imperialists failed to grasp one truth: that one can destroy, demolish, and kill, but one cannot kill, one cannot defeat the immortal spirit of the Korean man, built on the Juche idea, who won the happiness of socialism, experienced the happiness of socialism, and will not allow the happiness of socialism to be snatched from him.

The Korean nation rose up, the country of socialism marched on a holy patriotic war. The Korean people's friendship for other nations that seek to live in friendship with them is great, but their anger is terrible. Their hands, accustomed to creative work, took up arms to defend its fruits, to defend freedom and prosperity. The world did not know, and could not know, heroism and sacrifice equal to the deeds of the Korean people.

Guided by the genius of Kim Il Sung, celebrating its path with the boundless heroism of its soldiers, supported by the sacrifice and courage of hard-working men, and united into a single entity, breathing the will to fight and win, the Korean People's Army repelled the hordes of Yankee invaders. The legendary yet everyday deeds of the Korean people's patriots, the heroism of individuals and the nameless heroism of millions, led the knights of freedom along the path to victory. The red star of the beloved banner - the flag of the People's Republic - heralded to the world the victory of Korean arms and the spirit of the Juche idea. Victory in the Korean War radiated the sun of freedom upon the territories liberated by the Korean People's Army, which had refused to accept American occupation.

Surrounded by glory and love from their leader, Kim Il Sung, even more powerful and invigorated by their victory over Yankee aggression, under the wise leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea, the Korean people set about rebuilding the devastation of war with the same dedication and courage with which they had fought and defeated the enemy. The heroes of the frontline battles returned to peaceful, creative construction, becoming its heroes. He not only healed the Korean people's war wounds but also raised their country to unprecedented heights.

With gigantic edifices of communism, the edifice of a country heroic yesterday, magnificent today, and fabulous tomorrow looms over the entire world. The people of Korea, the Korea of Juche, united like never before, is building a socialist paradise on the road to full communism. It is taming nature, harnessing it to the service of humanity, and carrying out works that which great and simple people of various nations once dreamed of.

The Democratic People's Republic of Korea safeguards its security and peace through its nuclear defense arsenal and the wisdom of its Songun policy. No force can defeat it. It is invincible! Just as invincible is the Juche idea, just as invincible is the banner of Kimilsungism - Kimjongilism.

Woe to those who would attack this nation's freedom, woe to the imperialists who, in their mad pursuit of bloody profit, would tear the hands of the Korean people from their labor and force them to take up arms once again. The hands of the Korean people, the millions of hands of the working people of a free Korea - the Korea of Juche - if forced into armed struggle by the enemy, will overthrow once and for all, eradicating world capitalism from the face of the earth.

Let us learn from the Korean people, from the Korean Revolution. Let us strive to be like them, these wonderful, most noble people, sons and daughters of the Korean Revolution and the great leader Kim Il Sung. Let us strive to be like the Korean heroes of their revolution, faithful and unfailingly devoted to the ideals of communism with great awareness in creatively and creatively modeling the world according to the epochal idea of Juche, for the needs and goals of every human being, not for the exploitation and egoism of the parasitic class who tell us that it has to be this way, but for another just socio - political system that gives everyone the chance for full development and a beautiful free life, and not only for the selected elites of lazy capitalist bastards who drink the blood of the oppressed proletarian masses.

Let us defend the truth about the Korean Revolution, the truth about the Great Patriotic War, and the truth about the Korean people itself.

Glory to the Heroes of the Korean Revolution!
