77 years ago , on the 9th of September 1948 , President KIM IL SUNG founded the Democratic People's Republic of Korea .
The foundation of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) was a momentous event that heralded the building of socialism in Korea . The foundation of the DPRK is the greatest gain of the Korean people . With the foundation of the DPRK the Korean people took power in their hands and became masters of their destiny .
The DPRK is the cradleland of the happiness of the people .It is a people's paradise free from exploitation and oppression .The people of the DPRK enjoy free education , free health care , full employment , free housing and the abolition of taxation . The DPRK does not have homeless people or beggars or drug addicts.
Thanks to the leadership of President KIM IL SUNG , Chairman KIM JONG IL and Marshal KIM JONG UN the DPRK has traversed the road of Juche becoming known to the world as a state of total independence and true socialist country .
Today the DPRK is marching victoriously forward under the bright banner of Juche and self-reliance
