Bumper Harvest on Socialist Fields

2024 is a decisive year of confirming the victory in attaining the fighting goal set by the Eighth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea.
The Korean people have achieved successes in the agricultural production again this year, too, in the wake of last year.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un paid deep attention to the agricultural production throughout the year, saying the foremost important task for the improvement of the people's living is to do good farming.

At the Ninth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the WPK held in late December 2023, he advanced detailed tasks and ways related to the agricultural development of the country including the issue on powerfully pushing ahead with the mechanization of agriculture and the work of perfecting the irrigation system in 2024.

And on January 2 this year, he visited the venue of the farm machine exhibition in order to further promote the mechanization of agriculture because the mechanization of agriculture takes an important proportion in completely solving the food problem of the people.

At the Tenth Session of the 14th Supreme People's Assembly of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea on January 15, Kim Jong Un called for making this year a year of rich harvest again and took measures to supply fertilizer, agrochemicals, fuel and other farming materials.
A few days later, he told a senior official of the Cabinet time and again to take thoroughgoing measures for coping with the wet weather and drought expected this year.
He was so concerned about the agricultural production of the country from January.
In February, he took measures to do safe farming under the condition that unfavourable weather was expected. In July, he took steps to minimize the damage by disastrous abnormal climate by manuring and cultivating the crops well in the latter period of their growth. This is part of his devoted efforts for the agricultural production.

The bumper harvest on the socialist fields is, indeed, a valuable fruition of the wise leadership of Kim Jong Un.
