The Korean Friendship Association of the UK and the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea held their 11th Joint Songun-Juche Study session and Q and A on the 12th of August at 1900 hours BST . Participating were members of the Korean Friendship Association UK(KFA UK) and the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea from London , West of England , Oxfordshire , Staffordshire and other parts of the UK . Guests from KFA Andalusia (Spain) , KFA Germany and the People’s Korea Initiative of Poland.
Questions were received in advance about the nature of the electric power industry in the DPRK and the machine building industry and CNC .
Responding to the questions Dr Dermot Hudson , Chairman of KFA UK and Chairman of the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea explained that in the DPRK the main forms of electricity generation are coal fired power stations and Hydroelectric power stations but there is also atomic power , solar power, wind power and geo-thermal power . Dr Hudson also said that the DPRK has a long history of the machine building industry and is basically self-sufficient in machinery . He also said that CNC technology is being actively developed and introduced.
Responding to a question about the history of the revolutionary activities of the great leader President KIM IL SUNG Dr Hudson said that President KIM IL SUNG’s name was given to him by his revolutionary comrades .
A question was asked about if there are riots in the DPRK . Dr Hudson responded by saying that there are no riots in the DPRK because there is the single -hearted unity of the people around the Juche idea and there is also no lumpen class .
Dr Hudson also answered a question about the anti-Minsaengdan struggle during the anti-Japanese revolutionary war .
