BGSJI and KFA UK support press statement To bolster up self-defensive power for defending security environment of Korean peninsula and region is urgent requirement of times

The British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea (BGSJI), and the  Korean Friendship Association of the UK (KFA UK )  , issued a joint statement in support of the press statement titled  "To bolster up self-defensive power for defending security environment of Korean peninsula and region is urgent requirement of times", that was issued by the Institute for American Studies of the Foreign Ministry of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea(DPRK ) on Sunday 18th of August;

The US imperialist and ROK puppets are staging the "Ulji Freedom Shield" war exercises from today , 19th of August . The DPRK Foreign Ministry's Institute of American Studies has issued a press statement denouncing the war exercises and exposing their aggressive nature. The press statement correctly points out that "It is clearly recorded in the world history of wars that in preparation for a war, aggressor states followed a series of procedures, including adoption of war policy and military operation plan for its execution, advance deployment of forces, ceaseless simulated and actual war drills and war provocation "

From being "defensive " the exercises include operations to occupy the DPRK and so-called " beheading operations". It is as clear as daylight that the Uiji Freedom Shield exercise is about conquering the Democratic People's Republic of Korea by force and destroying the socialist system. Nuclear submarines and F16 fighters .

There is no transparency to Ulji Freedom Shield because the countries observing it are all under the control of the US .

Ulji Freedom Shield is being held shortly after the biennial RIMPAC war exercises finished which involved  40 warships, three submarines, 150-odd aircraft and 25 000 troops from 29 countries.

Thus the US and ROK puppets are staging war exercises one after the other creating a war like atmosphere .

The DPRK Foreign Ministry Institute of American Affairs concludes that the best way to ensure peace and stability is to build up strong defensive power .

We support the DPRK's correct stance which will safeguard  peace and independence .
