On the 17th of July 2012 the Central Committee of the Workers Party of Korea(WPK) ,the Central Military Commission of the WPK , the then National Defence Commission of the DPRK (now State Affairs Commission of the DPRK ) and the Presidium of the Supreme People’s Assembly awarded the title of Marshal to comrade KIM JONG UN . This title symbolises the leadership of respected Marshal KIM JONG UN to the revolutionary armed forces of Juche Korea .It was expression of the confidence , trust and faith of the Korean people in respected Marshal KIM JONG UN who had been commanding the armed forces of Juche Korea since December 2011 when he became Supreme Commander of the Korean People’s Army (KPA) appointed by the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers Party of Korea . .
Respected Marshal KIM JONG UN gave dynamic revolutionary leadership to the revolutionary armed forces of Juche Korea . On the 1st of January 2012 he visited the Seoul Ryu Kyong Su No 105 Tank Division of the Korean People’ Army which is the place where comrade KIM JONG IL started his guidance of the revolutionary armed forces on the 25th of August 1960 , this signified that respected Marshal KIM JONG UN would continue in the footsteps of Chairman KIM JONG IL and President KIM IL SUNG .
From the early days of his leadership and guidance of the revolutionary armed forces of Juche Korea , respected Marshal KIM JONG UN showed unrivalled courage and determination by visiting frontline posts under the very nose of the imperialist enemy . In March 2012 he visited Panmunjom and later in August that year he visited Mu Islet in the west sea of Korea at a time of great tension .
On several occasions in the past 12 years the US imperialists and ROK puppets have brought the situation to the brink of a catastrophic war which could even spilled over into a world war , such as in March 2013 and in the summer of 2015 but each time respected Marshal KIM JONG UN showed brilliant commanding abilities and a nerve of steel and faced down the US imperialists successfully defending the independence of People’s Korea as well as its honour and dignity . Moreover the outbreak of war on the Korean peninsula was averted .
It was respected Marshal KIM JONG UN who put forward the line of building the economy and nuclear force in parallel , a creative and modern application of the line of building the economy and defence in parallel ,in March 2013 and led it to a victorious conclusion . The DPRK has become a nuclear power and ICBM power . Last year the DPRK was able to launch its first ever military reconnaissance satellite and has made further advances in ICBM technology.
Respected Marshal KIM JONG UN has always strengthened army -people unity which is a great tradition of People’s Korea . When disasters struck the country on several occasions , respected Marshal KIM JONG UN always mobilised the KPA to assist in disaster recovery efforts . In the past year the new 20×10 policy of regional development has been launched with the aim of radically improving the regional economy of the DPRK . A new KPA regiment, the 124th regiment has been created to carry out construction work in the regions of the DPRK. Only People’s Korea could have such a people-oriented policy .
Respected Marshal KIM JONG UN is a people’s Marshal and a brilliant iron-willed ever-victorious commander who is leading the revolutionary armed forces of the DPRK and the people to final victory.
