 The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea (BGSJI) and the  Korean Friendship Association( KFA UK) issued the following joint statement in support of the the speech made by respected Marshal KIM JONG UN to the DPRK Ministry of National Defence on the occasion of the 76th founding anniversary of the Korean People's Army (KPA);

In his speech on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of the foundation of the KPA as a regular revolutionary armed force respected Marshal KIM JONG UN  reviewed the past achievements made by the KPA in defending the security and sovereignty of the DPRK as well as its socialist achievements . As Marshal KIM JONG UN says  of the KPA; "Shouldering the historic duty of safeguarding the national sovereignty, which could never be defended easily, it has undauntedly hewn out for the long 76 years the arduous path of fierce political struggle, class struggle, of deciding who prevails over whom." This is indeed true and correctly identifies the struggle of the KPA as a political struggle and a class struggle . This is what makes the DPRK different from other past and existing socialist countries and also how the Korean People's Army is qualitatively  different from the armies of past socialist countries . The KPA is a genuinely anti-imperialist ,anti-revisionist army.

Respected Marshal KIM JONG UN gives further clarification of the role and tasks of the KPA with regard to the new policy towards south Korea that was announced at the 9th Plenum of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers Party of Korea and the 10th session at the 14th Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK.The KPA will no longer be bound by any concept of south Korea as being 'compatriots ' or a dialogue partner. As explained by respected Marshal KIM JONG UN  ; "After reviewing the history of division and confrontation of our nation recently, our Party and government designated the puppet Republic of Korea as our most dangerous and first enemy state and invariable archenemy that stands in our way, and decided it as our state policy to occupy and subjugate its territory in time of emergency. This is an absolutely right measure for our state’s eternal security and its peace and stability in the future." This is absolutely correct .If the south Korean puppets start a war the DPRK will end their existence and the territory of the south will become part of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea .

 Moreover Marshal KIM JONG UN states that " Peace is not something to be begged for or bartered for through negotiations.". This is a very intelligent statement that shows that he has no illusions about US imperialism and the south Korean puppets . This is something that revolutionaries all over the world should always keep in mind and not have illusions about US imperialism and local bourgeois reactionary regimes .

Moreover, Marshal KIM JONG UN warns the KPA to be ready saying that "We should always be ready for war

If the enemy dares to have recourse to armed force against our state, we will make a bold decision to change history and enlist all the super-powerful means in our hands unhesitatingly so as to annihilate the enemy"

Respected Marshal KIM JONG UN's speech is truly excellent and highly inspirational . We recommend that people make a deep study of it . We strongly support the speech of respected Marshal KIM JONG UN .
