Comrades from every different department of our Korean Friendship Association, I salute you, and my salutations cover each and every single brother and sister we have in our organization. Today we march towards a very important topic, as we are about to discuss the 27th July of the year 1953, Juche 42. This is when the Korean Armistice Agreement was signed, marking the end of the Fatherland Liberation War, and a glorious victory for People’s Korea. I feel obliged to note that it is completely appalling that among the signatories were representatives of the United Nations Command, the Chinese People’s Volunteer Army and of course the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, but not of the occupied southern part of the country. A war that concerned the Korean people, instigated by exterior forces, leaving behind fire, blood and death, and almost half the total Korean population wasn’t even represented in the diplomatic conclusion of the conflict. The U.S. is keeping alive the reminder of this war even to this day, so we in return will remember it constantly and will fight towards bringing the definite end to this ongoing war, because the war against the people of Korea never ended, despite what they may want us to think.
