On July 17, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un was awarded the title of Marshal of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK). On the occasion of this meaningful day, our people are proudly reflecting on the past 10 years in which they have achieved victory under the leadership of the great brilliant commander.

The title of DPRK Marshal – this is an honorable title our people conferred upon him, carrying a boundless feeling of reverence for the great brilliant commander, and out of their firm faith and iron will to entirely entrust their destiny and future to him and follow him to the last.

During the past 10 years, our great Marshal accomplished greatest immortal exploits that no other great man in this world can achieve.

In such a short period, which could be compared to a moment in the long history of a country and nation, our national power reached its zenith in the world.

Comrade Kim Jong Un opened up a great heyday of the development of Juche-oriented revolutionary armed forces, bearing his noble will in mind that military power immediately means national power and that the prosperity of the fatherland and happiness of the people can be ensured only when we strengthen the military power in every way.

The round-the-clock arduous journey continued by Comrade Kim Jong Un for the great dignity and glory of the fatherland and people brought today’s miracle and victory. It also provided our people and our posterity with strongest national defense capability which enables them to enjoy happiness and comfort throughout generations under the blue sky cleared from a war forever.

A military parade was held in April in celebration of the 90th founding anniversary of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army, to the amazement of the world. It served as an occasion for demonstrating that our national power is no longer a “drop in the ocean” as it was 90 years ago when we had to fight against the Japanese brigands with only 100-or-so rifles. It also displayed its power which can tame the imperialist tyranny on earth at our will.

The world still vividly remembers the tough face of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who expressed his will to continue to strengthen and develop nuclear forces. In the parade square, he said that any forces daring to provoke the DPRK will be annihilated, and in the present world, where different forces collide fiercely with one another, a nation's dignity and sovereignty and reliable genuine peace are guaranteed by powerful defense capability that can overpower any enemy.

As we hold in high esteem Comrade Kim Jong Un, the illustrious commander, who is exactly the same as President Kim Il Sung, the ever-victorious iron-willed brilliant commander, our Republic will further shine as the world’s most dignified state and the invincible socialist power. This is an unwavering conviction of our people.
