Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK) , the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea (BGSJI ), the Korean Friendship Association of the UK (KFA UK ) and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and the Committee for Peace and Reunification (BSCPKP) ,issued the following joint statement denoncing the US imperialists and south Korean reactionary fascist puppets continous war moves against People's Korea , the land of Juche ;
72 years ago the US imperialists and south Korean puppets provoked the Korean War and 69 years ago the guns fell silent . However , the US imperialists and their lackeys in south Korea have been carrying out war exercises continously and have created tensiosn on the Korean peninsula for example
-On June 1, the US let the Indo-Pacific Command to make public the voyage of aircraft carriers called a “floating military base” Ronald Reagan and Abraham Lincoln in the waters around the Korean Peninsula.
-On May 29, an amphibious assault ship, USS Tripoli (LHA-7) carrying F-35A stealth fighter anchored San Diego Port, California arrived in the US naval port in Yokosuka, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan.
-From June 2 to 4, the US-south Korea joint military game was conducted with involvement of strike group of the US 7th Fleet including nuclear-powered aircraft carrier Ronald Reagan in the waters around Okinawa for the first time since 2017
-Forward deployment of four strategic bombers “B-1B” capable to mount precision strikes on points of military importance hundreds of kilometers away in Guam and over forty stealth fighters including “F-22”s and “F-35A”s in the US military bases in Japan
-From May 29 to 30, 15 fighters including “F/A-28”, deck plane of Ronald Reagan were deployed in the USAF base in Katena.
We sternly denounce these war exercises and aggressive moves against People's Korea which are not only threaten peace on the Korean peninsula and Asia-Pacific region but are aimed at stifling the Juche-based socialist system of People's Korea .
Moreover we support the appeal of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front of south Korea titled "Let us avert the second Korean War through nationwide action for peace against war!" .
