American society soaked with money-almighty principle and individualism is now reducing even the innocent children to hooligans.

On May 2, a nine-year old in Texas unconsciously shot a four-year old boy to death, to the consternation of the world.

Even before the world is fully recovered from the above-mentioned shock, a maternal death by a bullet fired by her own two-year old boy occurred in Florida, which again struck the world dumb.

Gun-related crimes committed by children are not at all rare occurrence in the U.S., and they are not mere involuntary mistakes or simple irresponsibility on the part of the parents.

According to data, American children watch more than 300,000 violent scenes via TV and internet until they reach the age of 18. Among them, 16,000 scenes are those of murder, and most children enjoy copying the murder scenes exactly the way they had seen.

It is a tragedy begot by American-style gun-related culture.

According to the recent ABC report, the child and juvenile mortality rate in the age group of one to nineteen years is on the sharp increase in the U.S., which is mostly attributable to gunshots rather than cancer or car accidents, and the year 2020 alone witnessed 4,300 gun-related deaths.

Such “culture of violence” prevalent in the American society coupled with the liberal possession of guns, serve as a guide to crimes, contaminating children with the idea of misanthropy.

The inveterate disasters – the gun-related crimes in the U.S. - are now turning even the children into perpetrators of gun-related incidents and their victims.

All the above facts indicate that the incessant gun-related juvenile delinquency is indeed the inevitable outcome of the U.S. society, the society of violence.
