Pyongyang, September 9 (KCNA) -- Papers here Monday in editorials dedicated to the 71st founding anniversary of the DPRK say that the DPRK is a great powerful country which is dignified with independence and leaps forward by dint of self-reliance.
Rodong Sinmun says that the founding of the DPRK on September 9, Juche 37 (1948) was a great event of special significance that gave origin to the construction of the genuine independent and sovereign state and the construction of the people's country for the first time in the nation's history spanning 5 000 years, and a solemn declaration of the start of the construction of a great powerful country.
