The Association for the Study of Songun Politics ,the Juche Idea Study Group of England , the UK Korean Friendship Association (UK KFA ) and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification (BSCPRKP) issued the following joint statement concerning the banning of the Phuong DPRK Channel by Youtube :
Today we learnt that the Phuong DPRK Youtube channel had been terminated by Youtube .allegedly because of "multiple or severe violations of YouTube's policy prohibiting hate speech." What a lot of nonsense this allegation is ! . We were both shocked and angry to learn this .
The Phuong DPRK Youtube channel was most informative and had a lot of valuable material about the DPRK . Clearly the channel has been banned to stop people learning the truth about People's Korea. Youtube had previously banned a number of pro DPRK youtube channels such as StimmeKoreas and the DPRK Today channel. It really is censorship and a modern form of fascism on the part of Google that own youtube It shows that the 'freedom ' and 'democracy ' talked about by the imperialists and their paid spokesman is not real , that is an illusion .
We call for the unjust ban on the Phuong DPRK Youtube Channel to be lifted . Full solidarity to the Phuong DPRK Youtube Channel !
