UK KFA condemns Action of the Royal Navy against People's Korea !

London 6th of April 2019

The UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) has recently learnt through the media and the UK government website of the deeply disturbing incident in which a Royal Navy ship HMS Montrose carried out hostile actions against legitimate and peaceful trading operations of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK).

It is not the DPRK's trading activities that are illegal but the UNSC sanctions against the DPRK are illegal as well as being unjust and immoral ! . Moreover the action of the Royal Navy is a grave infringement of the sovereignty of the DPRK .
As British people we feel deeply ashamed . The Royal Navy should not be doing the dirty work of the US for it .Moreover having Royal Navy ships so far from the shores of our island is a massive waste of taxpayers money particularly at a time when the UK is facing austerity and cutbacks . There can be no justification whatsoever  for the deployment of British Royal Navy ships in Korean waters !
We say that any British warships should be withdrawn from Korean waters and Britain should not interfere in the legitimate activities of the DPRK . Instead of serving the US , the British government should pursue a policy of honest friendship based on mutual benefit between Britain and the DPRK !
HANDS OFF PEOPLE'S KOREA !
ROYAL NAVY OUT OF KOREAN WATERS !
