London 22nd  of April Juche 108(2019)

Today Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the Juche Idea Study Group of England,  the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification on the Korean Peninsula (BSCPRKP) issued a joint statement in support of the Appeal to the Peace Loving people of the world made by the  Latin American and Caribbean Regional Committee for Supporting the Reunification of Korea:
On the 15th of April , the Latin American and Caribbean Regional Committee for Supporting the Reunification of Korea adopted an appeal to the peace loving people of he world  on the occasions of the 1st anniversary of the April 27th Panmunjom joint statement and the June 12 DPRK-US summit and set the period between April 27th and June 12th as a period in which to campaign for the peaceful reunification of Korea.
The salient points of the Appeal are firstly , let us launch dynamic international solidarity actions to see the peace process on the Korean peninsula result in the establishment of a lasting peace mechanism!, secondly , to  support and encourage the Korean people in their efforts to develop inter-Korean cooperation and exchange and jointly achieve national prosperity! and thirdly , to extend firm solidarity to the Korean people who are striving to achieve their country’s reunification in the spirit of national independence.
Our organisations support this appeal because we strongly believe that all military exercises by outside forces on the Korean peninsula should be ended . Furthermore we believe that US troops and bases should be withdrawn from south Korea. What is needed is real denculearisation of the Korean peninsula rather than the so-called Libyan model of regime change . We believe and urge that the sanctions against the DPRK should be withdrawn so as to achieve inter-Korean co-operation and exchange. Finally , we support the independent reunification of Korea without outside interference.
We strongly support this appeal and hope that it can be widely broadcast to the progressive movement and wider public !
KOREA IS ONE !
