Nothing Can Stop Juche Korea from Advancing: KCNA Commentary

Pyongyang, October 3 (KCNA) -- The world is hardly repressing admiration at the DPRK dynamically advancing despite the unprecedentedly harsh sanctions and pressure.

Oleg Ivanov, chief of the Center for Social Disputes Studies of Russia, in an article posted on an internet newspaper said the sanctions on the DPRK have resulted in adverse effects, noting that the DPRK has increased the capabilities for self-defence to cope with the U.S. moves for isolating and stifling it. It stressed that stronger sanctions prompted the Korean people to get rallied closer around their leadership, adding sanctions can never isolate the DPRK.

Western media and experts of different research institutes claim that the "north Korean regime does not mind international sanctions", "What is surprising is the north Koreans' love and enthusiasm about their regime" and that "sanctions on the DPRK can never prove effective". This is deserved estimation.

Now the U.S. and other hostile forces are waiting for the DPRK to yield while kicking up the harshest sanctions racket to stamp out the sovereignty and the right to existence of the DPRK.

This is just a foolish dream of those ignorant of the DPRK.

The DPRK is a dignified political and ideological power, a worldwide military power and a responsible nuclear weapons state that has grown stronger with the might of single-minded unity and self-development.

Despite the centuries-old hideous sanctions and pressure, the army and people of the DPRK have proved in practice the noble truth that the single-minded unity represents the lifeline of Juche Korea, constitutes the source of its surge and that the only way to be taken by it is self-development.

As was recognized by the world, the DPRK has achieved everything now in its hand at the cost of blood and sweat despite the ceaseless nuclear threat and sanctions imposed by the U.S. imperialists and their vassal forces for decades.

Trust in the party, faith in socialism and confidence of the final victory have taken deep roots into the minds of the Korean people in the course of overcoming manifold difficulties following the party.

We are not scared by any sanctions and will certainly foil sanctions and blockade with the sledge-hammer of self-reliance and hooves of Mallima and bring about a final victory. This is the answer of the Korean people.

Whatever forms of sanctions and blockade the enemies may impose on the DPRK, they can never browbeat the Korean people as long as the powerful state nuclear force firmly guarantees the security of the country and the people and there are the most advantageous socialist system and the solid self-reliant foundation of national economy.

Nothing can check the advance of Juche Korea, a country which legitimately ranked itself among nuclear powers with dignity despite the half a century-long siege by the imperialists. -0-
