KCNA Commentary Blasts S. Korean Puppet Forces' Intention to Increase Warhead Weight

Pyongyang, September 12 (KCNA) -- The south Korean puppet forces have become zealous in their moves to revise "missile guidelines" with the U.S. while citing the DPRK's measure for self-defence as a pretext.

Some time ago, the south Korean chief executive asked Trump to revise "missile guidelines" so that the weight of the puppet forces' ballistic missile warhead could be increased, and got a "verbal agreement" from him.

It is said that the issue will be discussed in real earnest in Seoul in coming October.

The puppet forces claim even though the range of the ballistic missiles was already extended so that the whole area of the DPRK could be put within their striking range through two revisions, the warhead weight is so small that the destructive power is limited. They call for increasing it to over 1 ton.

They are bluffing that the increase of the warhead weight to over 1 ton would be enough to "destroy the fortified commands and underground installations of the north with ease" and "get possessed of military deterrence capable of coping with the threats from the north".

It seems that the puppet forces totally lost the ability of the discerning the situation and the sense of direction, being upset by the eventful successes made by the DPRK in completing the nuclear force of the country and its continued tough offensive against the U.S.

Now ICBMs of the DPRK go across continent and oceans and fly into space and the detonation of super power thermonuclear weapon H-bomb is shaking the earth.

It is the might of our strategic weapons that they have been put on a high scientific and ultra-modern basis capable of making precision strikes at any enemies wherever they might be and from which direction they may come in attack.

It is ridiculous to try to find a way out in increasing the missile warhead weight by clinging to the master.

This will only bring into bolder relief the deplorable plight of the colonial stooge at the beck and call of the U.S., being unable to make its own decision over even such issue as the warhead weight.

Whenever the DPRK took measures for bolstering its nuclear force targeting the U.S., the south Korean puppet forces resorted to reckless military provocations raising louder hue and cry than others.

The U.S. used to bind the puppet forces in fetters of "missile guidelines" and never allowed them to move even an inch without its approval. But now it gave a "verbal agreement", revelation of an intention to use the stooges as cannon fodder for escalating confrontation with the fellow countrymen, launching a war of aggression and realizing its strategy for dominating Northeast Asia.

Disgusting indeed is the despicable acts of the puppet forces acting as if they have greatly benefited.

Nothing will change even though the warhead weight is increased.

Frankly speaking, the DPRK's nukes and strategic ballistic missiles are not just to counter the south Korean puppet forces.

They should not go reckless.

We have already warned that if they make bluff for which they can not be responsible by counting on the U.S. master, that will cause disaster beyond imagination. -0-
