From hereby on, Juche Study Group Ireland have decided to join the already active Ireland Juche-Songun Ideas Study Group. After discussions we at Juche Study Group Ireland decided that we would make more use as one united group, instead of having two co-existing groups, aiming for the same goals.

There is this one story about the two trotskyists on an island, but since they are trotskyists they are not going to cooperate with one another, so after a while on the island, these two trotskyists have already created three parties and two internationals on this island. We are not like the trotskyists who believe that several organisations with the same goals are benefiting the socialist movement, and compared to trotskyists we are true revolutionary and anti-imperialist. Not only in word, but also in action. We will never stand by and accept for example when the US/NATO imperialists are staging a “civil war” in Syria or when they will do the same to Iran. In a scenario like this, the trotskyists would claim that the foreign-backed terrorists are in-fact led by trotskyists or at least that there is a strong trotskyist movement there, fighting the government that Israel is doing bomb raids on.

We are not like that. We are marxists. We support the international anti-imperialist struggle and every people’s right to self determination.

This is why we now have decided to join forces with Ireland Juche-Songun Ideas Study Group. The Juche Study Group Ireland have been active since 2010, but since we haven’t managed to organise much activities recently, 100% of our members decided that it would be the best decision.
