             The Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK  and Juche Idea Study Group of England together with the UK Korean Friendship Association issued the following statement in support of the New Year Address made by the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un on 1st of January Juche 102.
                      It is highly significant that the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un has made this new year address . This fact inspires us greatly and gives us fresh confidence in the outstanding leadership abilities and talents  . It shows that the revolutionary leadership system of the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un has been firmly established and is being steadily consolidated each day.

                    2012 Juche 101 was indeed a great year for the DPRK even though it started on a sombre note as the people of the DPRK were mourning the loss of the great leader generalissimo Kim Jong Il. Sorrow was turned into strength and courage by the WPK under the Songun revolutionary  leadership of dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un. The achievements of the great leaders comrades Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il were immortalised and given a new lustre as dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un said in his New Year Address
"The President and the General were great leaders whom our people acclaimed for the first time in their history spanning thousands of years; they are the eternal images of the great Paektusan nation and banners of all victories and glory. Last year we celebrated the centenary of the birth of the President as the greatest national holiday, reviewed the 100-year history of Juche Korea with pride and held up the General as the eternal leader of our Party and people realizing the cause of immortalizing the leader. By doing so, we have been able to glorify the new century of the Juche era as the annals of victory and glory for the accomplishment of the revolutionary cause of Juche under the unfurled banner of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism"
                                                  Many great achievements were made by the DPRK during 2012 under the leadership of dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un . Most striking and significant was the launch of the Kwangmysong 3-2 satellite using 100 per cent DPRK resources and materials. Large scale enterprises such as the Huichon Power station and even a new port at Tanchon went into operation. Big strides forward were made in improving the people's standard of living by the construction of new housing such as Changjon Street as well the creation of a vast number of new cultural , leisure and recreational facilities such as Rungna People's Pleasure Park.
       Dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un put forward tasks  and strategies for the New Year saying that

"The new year 2013 is a year of great creations and changes in which a radical turnabout will be effected in  the  building  of  a  thriving  socialist  country  on  the  road  of  the  onward  march  in the new century of
Kim Il Sung’s and Kim Jong Il’s Korea.

All the people and service personnel should dynamically turn out in the grand onward march for building a thriving country full of pride of victors and confidence in a rosy future.

The road of Juche is the only path for our Party and people to invariably follow and great Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism is the ever-victorious banner of our revolution. We should march forward along the road of independence, the road of Songun and the road of socialism to the end upholding the banner of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism. Our Party will triumphantly build a thriving socialist nation, the most powerful country, on this land in our own way, the way the General did, by relying on our people who are the best in the world.

This year we will be greeting the 65th anniversary of the founding of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, our glorious motherland, and the 60th anniversary of the victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War."

                              This is a strong declaration and affirmation of maintaining the revolutionary principles to the end.  Saying that the road of Juche is the only path to follow and great Kimisungism-Kimjongilism is the ever -victorious banner is a decisive rebuff to the imperialists and others who want to force the DPRK  to abandon its principles.
            The dear respected leader comrade Kim Jong Un put forward the strategic slogan
" Let us bring about a radical turn in the building of an economic giant with the same spirit and mettle as were displayed in conquering space!”

    This is a most correct slogan that is inspiring and creative. The spirit displayed by the launchers of the Kwangmysong 3-2 satellite will be displayed in the economy. The independent economy of the DPRK inspired by this slogan will make a great leap forward in 2013 !.
                                 Dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un calls for the building of a socialist paradise and even more cultural and welfare facilities to be built for the working people. This is in stark contrast to the crisis -ridden capitalist
countries of the West where austerity and cutbacks are the order of the day.
             The single-hearted unity of the people around the leader and party is both the underpin and driving force for building a thriving socialist country . Dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un calls  for carrying on the tradition of single-hearted unity established by the great leader comrade Kim Il Sung and adorning the red flag of the revolution. As party organisations must increase their militant function . Dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un correctly calls for doing party work like the heady days of the 1970s as well as firmly upholding the lofty patriotism of the great leader comrade Kim Jong Il. Indeed dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un points out the eternal soul and breath of the DPRK is the patriotism of the great leader comrade Kim Jong Il.

                     Dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un refers to the fact that it will be the 50th anniversary of the slogan " “a-match-for-a-hundred" first put forward by the great leader generalissimo Kim Il Sung . This slogan has deep significance in the Songun revolution and was put forward in opposition to modern revisionism and great power chauvinism.  The revolutionary armed forces of the Korean people should be built up further and more weapons produced so that the Korean People's Army and revolutionary armed forces of Juche will be ready to not only repulse the aggression of the US imperialists but achieve the reunification of the country.
                  Dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un stressed that the reunification of Korea must be solved in an independent manner without outside interference. At the same time confrontation must be removed , this can only be achieved when the anti-reunification forces abandon their hostility . The driving force for Korean reunification is the entire Korean nation. Reunification is central to
everything
"Whatever trials and difficulties lie in the way of national reunification, we will build a reunified thriving country without fail on this three-thousand-ri land by the concerted efforts of the whole nation."
                                          This shows the unswerving commitment to the cause of Korean reunification true to the intentions and behests of the great leaders President Kim Il Sung and chairman Kim Jong Il.
 
        Internationally the imperialists are wrecking peace and violating sovereignty. Despite this the demand of humanity is to live an independent life free from imperialism  . Dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un  emphasises  that

"The aspiration and desire of mankind to lead an independent life free from all sorts of domination and subordination is growing stronger, and no force can check the trend of history towards independence and justice.

The present international situation demands that our Republic continue to advance along the road of independence under the unfurled banner of Songun."

                                        Indeed Songun is the means for achieving and defending independence.  The great leaders of the Korean revolution President Kim Il Sung and chairman Kim Jong Il always said that the revolution is started and advanced by armsand this statement of dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un fully reaffirms this.

                    The ASSPUK JISGE and UK KFA without hesitation applaud this New Year address as it contains correct lines and policies for fresh victories of Juche Korea in 2013 . It lights the way towards  a thriving socialist country and to the reunification of Korea. It inspires us with confidence in the cause of independence.
  We strongly commend this address to our members and supporters and also to all Juche Idea and Songun idea followers as well the progressive peoples of the world. We call for the serious study and dissemination of the speech.
