Rodong Sinmun Discloses Catastrophic Nature of Capitalism

Pyongyang, July 10 (KCNA) -- A bylined article of Rodong Sinmun Tuesday deals with the unemployment crisis in capitalist countries.
The jobless rate has steadily risen in the capitalist world where everything is at standstill because of serious economic crisis, the article says, and goes on:
The jobless rate has now reached 11.1 percent in Eurozone and 8.2 percent in the U.S.
The unemployment crisis getting worsened in capitalist society sharpens all social contradictions, driving the capitalist system into collapse.
This is eloquently proved by the fact that people from all walks of life staged anti-capitalist demonstrations in protest against poverty and economic inequality in more than 1 500 cities of over 80 capitalist countries last year, shouting "We are 99 percent!" and "Give us jobs!"
The worsening unemployment crisis pushes capitalist society into a paradise of violence and crimes.
Those who lost jobs due to the economic crisis are using hallucinogenic and other drugs to relieve uneasiness and fear of existence and despair. Many of them commit suicides.
It is irresistible that the increasing unemployment rate in capitalist society make many people mentally and physically disabled and turns society into a theater of immorality and depravity.
Contradiction and antagonism are surfacing in capitalist countries due to the worsening unemployment. -0-
