Pak Jong Suk′s Family Enjoys Happy Life in Pyongyang

Pyongyang, July 10 (KCNA) -- A KCNA journalist went to the house of 66-year-old woman Pak Jong Suk on Tuesday to learn about her family's living. Pak had returned home after being taken away to south Korea, allured by its agents.
She is now living with her son Kim Jin Myong, daughter-in-law Kim Sin Yong and granddaughter.
Pak said:
"During the six-year-long stay in south Korea, I keenly felt how precious my motherland was. The remembrance of my days in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea persistently urged me to go back home.
When I deplaned in the airport, I was astonished to see officials with flowers in their hands. Then my son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter rushed towards me.
The warm hospitality made me shed tears. In fact, I would have had nothing to complain even though I was handcuffed.
The State gave me a new apartment house in Pyongyang to live with my son's family, instead of making an issue of my past wrongdoings."
Kim Jin Myong said:
"I had been in distress as the son of a mother who betrayed her country. I felt shame at my mother's betrayal before my fellows, family and society.
But the State showed loving care for my disgraceful family. Under this care I studied composition at Pyongyang Kim Won Gyun Conservatory and became its teacher after graduation as I wished."
Kim Sin Yong said:
"The State offered us this new house, furnished with all living conditions.
My mother-in-law sat all night on the house-moving day, hardly believing the fact.
Medical workers come to my home every day to give treatment to her leg wounded in south Korea.
Our relatives, friends and neighbors frequently call at this house to look after my family's living. I dare say that the best in the world is the Korean-style socialist system centered on the masses where everyone enjoys a happy life without distinction." -0-
