                   London 23rd of May (2025)

The British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea(BGSJI)  and the  Korean Friendship Association of the UK(KFA UK ) issued a joint statement in support of the statement of the spokesperson of the Korea Association for Human Rights Studies of the DPRK;

On the 20th of May the UN General Assembly (UNGA ) a meeting on the so-called "human rights " issue of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) . Basically, there is no human rights issue in People's Korea for the UNGA to discuss . Moreover human rights are an internal affair of the DPRK and calling such a meeting constitutes an unwarranted interference in the internal affairs of the DPRK.

With regard to the UNGA meeting  on the 20th of May the DPRK  Korea Association for Human Rights Studies denounce it strongly saying that  it " bitterly denounces and rejects the plot to convene the meeting as a wanton contravention of the UN Charter and international law which stipulate respect for sovereignty and non-interference in internal affairs and a grave violation of the dignity and sovereignty of our state".

The UNGA meeting was based on all sorts of lies and fabrications by those who had betrayed their Juche socialist motherland .

The UNGA meeting in our opinion (KFA UK and BGSJ) was another twist in the conspiracy to overthrow Juche-based socialism in People's Korea.

In fact People's Korea is the only country in the world to give its citizens free housing , free heath care , free education as well as free school uniforms and dairy products for children (note school milk in the UK was abolished in the UK in the 1970s ).The DPRK has actually gone far beyond international standards on human rights.

We reject the slanders against the people-centred socialist system of the DPRK and its popular , people oriented policies.

We support the statement of the DPRK Korea Association for Human Rights Studies and call for more people to rally around and defend People' Korea with No Ifs or Buts .
