           The Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK,the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea Study ,the  Korean Friendship Association of the UK and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification on the Korean Peninsula(BSCPRKP) today issued a statement supporting the press statement of   comrade Kwon Jong Gun, director general of the Department of U.S. Affairs of the Foreign Ministry of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK):

Comrade Kwon Jong Gun, director general of the Department of U.S. Affairs of the DPRK Foreign Ministry issued a statement responding to the remarks of US secretary of state Blinken during his recent visit to China .During the visit Blinken told the Chinese leadership to put pressure on the DPRK claiming that China is the only country that can 'put pressure ' on the DPRK .

When Blinken is really aiming at it is to invielege or coerce the Chinese leadership into US schemes to force the unilateral disarmanent of the DPRK and for the DPRK to dismantlement the socialist system.Blinken threatened that the US along with Japan and south Korea would take measures not to the liking of China .

The cause of tension on the Korean peninsula is not the DPRK or its neigbouring country but the extreme hostile policy of the US towards the DPRK which includes constant war exercises and nuclear threats as well as sanctions and regime change operations .

Comrade Kwon Jong Gun reiterates the DPRK's firm independent position saying "Taking this opportunity, we seriously warn that the scale and scope of the DPRK's counteraction measures will be extended more overwhelmingly and offensively in case the escalation of the U.S. military action and provocation in the Korean peninsula and the region is spotted."

We support the warning given by comrade Kwon Jong Gun . It is really disgusting that the US is trying  drag third countries into its dirty schemes against the DPRK. The DPRK will fully exercise its right to self-defence .
