This is a night view of Songhwa Street which was completed in April last. Situated in the east gateway to Pyongyang, the capital city of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, the street is a large architectural group containing 10 000 flats. The full moon adds much to the serene beauty of the brightly-illumined street. The flats of this street were provided free of charge to ordinary working people including blue-collar and white-collar workers.
