Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un Sends Reply Message to Xi Jinping

 Pyongyang, October 20 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), sent a reply message to Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), on October 19.


Kim Jong Un in his message extended heartfelt thanks to the general secretary on behalf of the WPK and all the Korean people and on his own behalf for sending warm congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of the 75th founding anniversary of the WPK.


He said that the hearty congratulations from the general secretary and the party and people of China added to the joy of the members of the WPK and the Korean people who greeted the significant Party founding day, and are positively encouraging them to the struggle towards the 8th Congress of the Party.


He noted that the lives and safety of the peoples are being reliably defended and the socialist construction being vigorously pushed ahead with in the DPRK and China despite the complicated international situation and serious world public health crisis thanks to the firm guidance of the WPK and the CPC which regard the people as the dearest.


He said that he would make positive efforts together with the general secretary to further consolidate and develop the traditional DPRK-China friendly relations, which have entered a fresh and vigorous stage as required by the era, and dynamically advance socialism, the core of the DPRK-China friendship,.


He expressed the conviction that the Chinese people would win a fresh victory in their struggle for comprehensively building a modernized socialist state under the leadership of the CPC with the general secretary as its core.


He sincerely wished the general secretary good health and bigger success in his responsible work. -0-
