Dear Comrades,
The 10th October is a very special day to Koreans and to us as friends of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. The Workers Party of Korea celebrates its 75th Anniversary, a party which upholds the true meaning of a Workers Party!
On the 10th October, 1980 (Juche 69) President KIM IL SUNG made a historical speech under the title “Let us reunify the country independently and peacefully” President KIM IL SUNG created a Ten point policy for the future Korea which would be named the DFRK (Democractic Federal Republic of Koryo)
This Ten point policy is ;
The DFRK should adhere to independence in all state activities and pursue an independent policy.
The DFRK should effect democracy throughout the country and in all areas of society, and promote national unity.
The DFRF should effect economic cooperation and exchange between north and south, and ensure the development of an independent national economy.
The DFRK should realize north-south exchange and cooperation in the spheres of science, culture and education and ensure the uniform progress of the country’s science and technology,national culture and arts, and national education.
The DFRK should reopen transport and communications links between the north and south and ensure the free use of the means of transport and communications all across the country.
The DFRK should ensure a stable livelihood for the entire people including the workers, peasants and other working masses and promote their welfare systematically.
The DFRK should remove the state of military confrontation between the north and south and form a combined national army to defend the nation against invasion.
The DFRK should defend and protect the national rights and interests of all overseas Koreans.
The DFRK should deal properly with the foreign relations established by the north and the south prior to reunification, and should coordinate the foreign activities of the two regional governments in a unified manner.
The DFRK should, as a unified state representing the whole nation, develop friendly relations with all the countries of the world and pursue a peaceful foreign policy.
As we can see the Ten point policy set out by President KIM IL SUNG is the correct route which should be taken by Koreans in the south to ensure peace, cooperation and a unified Korea which will become a beacon of peace, and serve as an example to other nations in the world which are split.
To achieve this Koreans in the south must reject and send the united states away from their land to ensure this Ten point policy can be achieved.
President KIM IL SUNG’s vision of an united Korea is within reach and always has been! We as friends of Korea should encourage our fellow Comrades, and friends to voice this vision. The Korean people will be reunited under the one flag and living in peace and harmony.
Let us all promote peace and reunification of Korea with goodwill amongst everyone!
