Children presented bouquets to the supreme leader and the Cuban president and their wives.
Among the audience were Kim Yong Nam, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK and president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee, vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and vice-chairman of the WPK Central Committee, Premier Pak Pong Ju, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee and vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK, senior Party and government officials Ri Su Yong, Pak Thae Song, Ri Yong Ho and Kim Nung O, officials of the Cabinet, ministries and national institutions, and working people, youths and students of Pyongyang.
Commanding officers of the Korean People's Army including Kim Su Gil, Ri Yong Gil and No Kwang Chol, and other KPA service personnel were also present to see the performance.
The members of the Cuban delegation, the Cuban ambassador to the DPRK and his embassy officials were invited to see the performance.
The grand gymnastics and artistic performance began, unfolding a sea of welcoming dancers at the stadium swept by warm friendly feelings toward the Cuban people.
The performers gave grand epical descriptions of the history of the victorious and glorious socialist country which is prospering with self-reliance and demonstrating its dignity and might under the guidance of the great party, holding the peerlessly great men in high esteem.
The atmosphere of the performance reached its climax with the chapter of DPRK-Cuba friendship reflecting the will of the peoples of the two countries to add eternal brilliance to the traditions of the fraternal and militant friendship and solidarity forged in the struggle for independence and socialism against imperialism.
When the performance ended, fireworks were set off to gorgeously decorate the nocturnal sky of Pyongyang.
The Supreme Leader and the Cuban president warmly waved back to the performers and the audience with their hands joined and upraised.
