The Distorting Mirror or the Cracked Mirror -commentary on the Mirror's anti-DPRK articles by UK KFA

Recently the salacious tabloid the 'Daily Mirror' carried a series of reports from the Democratic People's Republic of Korea . Their chief investigative reporter (why send an investigative reporter to carry what is basically a travel story ) was in the DPRK at the same time as the delegation of the JISGE , UK KFA and ASSPUK , though luckily we did not run into him . The Mirror's report was basically hostile , very hostile despite the fact that the reporter in question had assured the DPRK of accurate and objective reporting , so an example of journalists using subterfuge or deception to enter the DPRK .
The report uses the racist and colonialist term ' the hermit kingdom ' to describe the DPRK . All the usual cliches such as 'brainwashed ' , 'evil regime ' etc are trotted by the Mirror .
The wonderful International Friendship Exhibition in Mt Myohyang is slandered badly , I am not repeating here the vile words used by the Mirror reporter . As usual he gets facts wrong ,for example incorrect stylisation of the name of the great leader comrade Kim Il Sung (never break up Korean names) and even gets the name of the KFA wrong when referring to a gift of a rugby shirt presented by the UK KFA in 2014 , saying the 'UK arm of Friends of Korea " instead of the UK Korean Friendship Association , Disappointingly the other gifts sent by UK KFA , ASSPUK and JISGE are not mentioned.
The reporter clearly could not find any homeless people , beggars ,alcoholics , drug addicts , drug dealers , gangsters etc that you can find in large numbers in London nor could he find the labour camps that the mainstream media allege exist in the DPRK . So in a vain attempt to smear and demonize the DPRK he turned his attention to the Pyongyang Central Zoo , popular visitor attraction in the DPRK and a place where Korean people enjoy themselves. The reporter made allegations about the treatment of a tiger but failed to provide an evidence that the tiger was ill treated or that the cub in the picture was stillborn . Of course unfortunately some tiger cubs will stillborn whether it is a zoo in Pyongyang or in London or New York but this idiot chooses to highlight this . You can help wondering whether the reporter simply hated Korean working people enjoying a day a day out . Maybe he thinks they should be working 18 hours a day for an American multi-national corporation like in south Korea !
The 'Mirror ' in the past was owned by Robert Maxwell a Mossad agent who stole from his employees pension fund . Some have alleged links between the Mirror and MI6 , Of course as some old timers point out most journalists really work for the intelligence services , even liberal ones !
The press in countries is not free but actually tightly controlled . Each day you can find the same story in several different newspapers and the same lines argued . This is real mind control and brainwashing .
To find the truth about the DPRK join KFA and visit the DPRK
