The Western imperialist Media's April Missile Madness -UK KFA and JISGE special article

                 For the past month, April 2013 the Western media have been hysterical about a potential missile test by the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. For several weeks each day they claimed that a DPRK missile test would take place either today or tomorrow or the next day. To date (May 2nd) there has been no DPRK  missile test. So where was it ?  We were variously told that the  missile/missiles were on the launch pad, were in an upright position , it had been fuelled etc , were ready to be fired . Where was this information  coming from ? from the usual "satellite photos"(amazing things satellite photos they can even tell you what people had for lunch )  and  south Korean, US and Japanese" intelligence sources ". Such people and the Western media have a very active imagination. Really how can they tell from satellite photos whether a missile is has been fuelled. What if the missile is actually in an underground silo , how could they possibly predict the launch.

Various dates were speculated on  such as April 15 , the BBC  reported " There is growing concern that North Korea may carry out a missile test in the next 24 hours to coincide with ceremonies marking the birth of its late founder, Kim Il-sung". This was proved wrong , it is not for nothing that the BBC is known as the British Brainwashing Corporation  but maybe they could have been far more astute than listened to the panic mongers of Seoul and the crazed Yankee imperialist military. Others said it would be April 25th . The supposedly 'liberal 'UK newspaper ('liberal' but still pro imperialist to the core) claimed " The North moved two mid-range Musudan missiles in early April and placed seven mobile launchers in the same area, Yonhap said on Sunday. A North Korean show of force could be staged to coincide with the anniversary of the founding of its army on 25 April" Of course the "Guardian " does make it clear that the source for this is the south Korean propaganda agency Yonhap . Again this was proved wrong as there was no missile launch .

 The hysteria over the non-existent missile launch grew to manic proportions with Japan outdoing south Korea and the US by deploying PAC-3  missile interceptors to shoot down a supposed DPRK missile . This shows the insanity of the extreme right wing Japanese reactionaries whose virulent racism is similar to the BNP's .

     Not content with spreading rumours and hysteria about DPRK missile launches the south Korean puppets tried to float the story about a supposed 4th DPRK nuclear test. Again the "liberal" Guardian "  said " North Korea could be preparing to conduct a fourth nuclear test, following signs of activity at the country's main testing site,South Korea's unification minister, Ryoo Kihl-jae, said on Monday.
Ryoo told a meeting with MPs at the national assembly that Seoul had acquired evidence of increased movement of vehicles and personnel at Punggye-ri, the Yonhap news agency said."
                               Well the nuclear test  did not happen . Just look at how sketchy the evidence was 'increase movement of vehicles and personnel' , proves what exactly ? nothing !. The curious thing is that day in day out we are told that the DPRK is the most secretive country in the world , that it is the most closed country in the world  yet south Korea constantly claims to have detailed information about goings on that would be top-secret in most countries .
                          Of course this is not the first time (and sadly not the last ) that the Western imperialist media have made predictions about the DPRK only for them to be proved spectacularly wrong. In May 2012 the Western media was buzzing with rumours about a DPRK nuclear test , all based on 'information' from an unnamed source. As we know the test never happened in May. Then in December 2012 the Kwangmysong3-2 successfully blasted off on the Unha-3 rocket. Yet the day before the south Korea media reported that the rocket had been  disassembled or taken off the launch pad( in their dreams !) .
                          All the above just goes to show that the Western media is simply not a credible source of information about the DPRK , its stories are proved false time and time again. The talk of the crisis on the Korean peninsula was something conjured up by the paid media of imperialism. It served the purpose firstly, to cover up the real aggressor in Korea , US imperialism which divided Korea and keeps 37,000 troops in the south of Korea . The stories about the DPRK missile threat and supposed launch distracted and diverted people from the real cause of the tension the massive Foal Eagle/Key Resolve exercises held in south Korea by the US imperialists involving south Korea but also 4 other countries. The DPRK's statements of retaliatory action were merely a response to the real aggression of the US imperialists and south Korean puppets who were carrying out a dry -run to invade the DPRK. It is nonsense to suggest that the Foal Eagle Key Resolve exercises are 'routine ' , 'defensive' or 'annual'. After all why do people have fire drills at work? in case a real fire breaks out one day and people have to practice leaving the building safely. The same with Foal Eagle and Key Resolve , they are a practice for the invasion of the DPRK .

No-one should be fooled by the imperialist media's war propaganda against the DPRK.
