UK KFA supports the call of The Asia-Pacific Regional Committee for Supporting Peaceful Reunification of Korea and the Philippines Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification in the Korean Peninsula

UK KOREAN FRIENDSHIP ASSOCIATION

             London 14th of November

The UK Korean Friendship Association wishes to add its voice to the appeal made by the The Asia-Pacific Regional Committee for Supporting Peaceful Reunification of Korea and the Philippines Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification in the Korean Peninsula on the 23rd of October 2012.

We strongly support this appeal. In July 2013 it will be the 60th anniversary of the Korean people's great victory in the just Fatherland Liberation war led by the great leader generalissimo Kim Il Sung the ever victorious iron-willed brilliant commander and gifted military strategist.  On this occasion it is important for friends of the DPRK and progressive people worldwide to highlight
the reactionary and anachronistic policy of US imperialism in Korea which continues to occupy the southern part of Korea  causing Korea to be divided.
The US imperialists are maintaining a hostile policy towards the DPRK .
UK KFA has always believed that the US troops should be withdrawn from south Korea. They are the root cause of tension . The US troops are the authors of all the misfortunes of the south Korean people and in fact exploiting the south Korean people .
We fully uphold the call made by the Asia-Pacific Regional Committee for Supporting Peaceful Reunification of Korea and the Philippines Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification in the Korean peninsula foran active campaign for the withdrawal of US troops from south Korea on the occasion of the anniversary.
UK KFA will do all in its power to realise this aim in the UK .
