NORTH STAFFORDSHIRE KFA HOLD MEETING

REPORT OF A MEETING TO
CELEBRATE 68TH BIRTHDAY
OF KIM JONG IL HELD ON
FEBRUARY 13TH 2010

IN STOKE ON TRENT
A celebratory meeting was held to mark the 68th birthday of KIM JONG IL il, Hanley, Stoke On Trent on February 13th 2010. The meeting was organised by the North Staffordshire Regional Committee of the Korean Friendship Association. At the meeting there were trade unionists, businesspersons, academics & students, members of the & represntatives of the Indian community.
Mr.Shaun Pickford gave a presentation on the Revolutionary Biography & activities of KIM JONG IL to the audience. Mr.Pickford stressed that KIM JONG IL guided the Korean People to a successful outcome in the recent 150 day campaign and was sure that the DPRK will achieve ulimate victory in the socialist cause due to the Leadership of KIM JONG IL. Shaun Pickford recalled with fondness his July 2009 visit to the DPRK & gave many vivid accounts of his experiences in Korea. Mr.Adam Murphy gave a talk on the basics of the Juche Philosophy. Mr. Murphy's lecture recalled the originality of the Juche Idea and stated that it was an ideology suited to the struggles of the 21st century.
The KFA meeting aroused alot of interest in the reality of the DPRK. All the participants expressed their admiration for the General KIM JONG IL and solidarity with the Korean People. The audience looked around an exhibition of photographs of the DPRK and enjoyed food & drink in comfortable surroundings. Overall the Staffordshire KFA meeting was a profound success.
