 Dear comrade Alejandro Cao de Benos,

 Dear comrade Dr. Dermot Hudson,

 Dear participants of the international meeting,

 Our KFA-President Alejandro, Cao de Benos choose the theme „DPRK, BEACON OF HOPE FOR 

THE WORLD AND MANKIND“. In my opinion this is a very fitting theme and I will explain why.

 Let´s say you open a newspaper or listen to the news on the radio or at the TV. Here in Germany 

you will read: - It's raining into the lecture halls of universities- more hospitals have to close- Youth centres have to close- discussions about rising the retirement ages even more- discussions about fees for doctor visits (despite having to pay for health-insurance)- The chancellor talking about deporting people to have a better cityscape- And of course commentaries stating that a Palestinian state would be without a doubt another regime in the middle east oppressing women and homosexuals

 On comparison, this are headlines from news outlets of the DPRK:- “People move into new houses at Sangphyong Stockbreeding Farm“-  

„Successes made at different units of national economy“- „Farmers of Wolmyong Farm in DPRK Move into New Houses“- „New Public Buildings and Production Facilities Inaugurated at Tapsang Farm in DPRK“- „Construction of Regional-Industry Factories Goes Full Steam Ahead“- „Educator Contributes to Improving Ecological Environment“- „Regional-industry Factories Produce Quality Products“- „Technology for Producing Biobinder Developed in DPRK“

 The difference is obviouse. In The DPRK regional industries flourish, the state invests in healthcare,

 housing and education because for the Workers Party of Korea, the people are the most preciouses 

thing in the world. In western countries like, Germany, the USA, Spain and Great Britain there is 

more and more homelessness, unemployment and poverty, because in capitalism everything is about

 profit. It´s a tragedy if thousands of people loss their jobs, but in the west it´s done over and over 

again for “economic reasons”, meaning to maximize the profits of the capitalist class. It´s against 

any human reason and an unimaginable harsh violation of human rights to have homelessness, but 

in the west houses are not build, for people to live in them, but to make profit.

 Simply put, that the essence of capitalism. Food is not made to feed people, but to make profit. Beds

 are not made to sleep in them and medicine isn´t to heal people. The capitalist want to make money 

with them. It is necessary for those things to have a use-value, so people buy them, but they aren´t 

made to fulfil people´s needs, they are made to make money. And so if one can´t pay for food, he 

doesn´t get to eat, if one can´t pay for a bed, he can´t sleep and if one can´t pay for medicine, he can

 ´t be healed. 

In The DPRK, it´s the other way around. In the DPRK everything serves the people. Food, beds, 

medicine and everything else isn´t made to make profit, but to benefit the people. And this makes 

the DPRK a beacon of hope and a role model of the whole world, and at the same time it explains 

why the people who profit of the needs of the people hate and demonize the DPRK. 

We also celebrate this year the 25th anniversary of the founding of the Korean Friendship 

Association, by our President, comrade Alejandro Cao de Benos. Our mission is to defend People´s 

Korea without if´s or but´s and the best way to do this is by telling the people the truth about the 

DPRK. The attacks against KFA are the best proof, that KFA is very successful in doing that. 

KFA Germany, which is part of the great KFA family, tries to do it´s part in defending People´s 

Korea with no if´s or buts.

 On the 22th of February we organized together with Russian comrades an picket against the US

consulate in Düsseldorf, to protest against the US-aggressions against the DPRK. 

On the 26th of April we had a stand at the Elbe day, a celebration of the handshake of soviet- and 

US-soldiers shaking their hands at the Elbe at the end of the second world war. At this stand we 

could talk with many interested people and sell many books from Dr. Hudson and works from the 

leaders of the DPRK. 

On the 16th of August we had a rally at the Paris place in Berlin on the occasion of the 80th 

anniversary of the liberation of Korea from Japanese colonial rule. Many speakers explained the 

pedestrians the achievements of the Workers Party of Korea and protested against US- sanctions 

and aggressions. 

On the 19th of October we had a conference celebrating the 80th anniversary of the founding of the 

glorious Workers Party of Korea. Around 20 people came to listen about the achievements of 

socialist Korea under the leadership of the Workers Party of Korea. 

At the time of me writing this, this is still in the future, but KFA Germany will have at the time of 

the international meeting had a stand at the left-wing literacy fair. There we will hold a short 

presentation about our translation of Dr. Hudsons book “Anti-Revisionist Fortress of Juche- 

People’s Korea and the Struggle against Revisionism“.

 KFA Germany will continue to do it´s part in Defending People´s Korea with no if or buts, no 

matter how many lies the imperialists tell. And we will stand with our KFA-President Alejandro 

Cao de Benos and the KFA leadership, no matter how many lies are spread about them.

Splendid Celebrations Held to Mark 80th Founding Anniversary of KPA Air Force

Pyongyang, November 30 (KCNA) -- The Air Force of the Korean People's Army has defended the dignity and prestige of the great Workers' Party of Korea with absolute loyalty, heroic fighting spirit and matchless courage and firmly protected the inviolable sovereign airspace of the DPRK and the security of its people. It is celebrating its 80th founding anniversary in its history shining with victories and glory.

A celebration event took place with splendor at Kalma Airport of the 59th Kil Yong Jo Hero Flying Group of the Second Air Wing on Nov. 28 to mark the 80th founding anniversary of the KPA Air Force.

Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, attended the celebration event to congratulate and encourage all the officers and men of the heroic people's Air Force.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un was accompanied by his dear daughter.

Kim Jong Un first visited the bust of Hero Kil Yong Jo.

Recollecting with deep emotion the worthwhile life of the hero pilot who left the indelible traces of loyalty over the sky with the steadfast spirit of defending the country and the revolution, he laid a flower before the bust of the martyr and paid tribute to him.

The air force base on the east coast, the venue for the celebration event, was seething with boundless excitement and joy of the service personnel of the Air Force who would significantly celebrate the historic day, the origin of the building of the Juche-oriented air forces, in the presence of Kim Jong Un whom they have always longed for.

When Kim Jong Un arrived at the airport amid the playing of welcome music, all the service personnel of the Air Force broke into enthusiastic cheers, looking up to the invincible and iron-willed commander, the great father who has ushered in a great heyday of the development of the DPRK's armed forces with his outstanding army-building idea and extraordinary military wisdom and bestowed the greatest honor to be shined in the militant course of the people's Air Force forever.

The KPA Air Force courteously greeted the Supreme Commander of the armed forces of the DPRK with the highest respect.

He met Air Chief Marshal Kim Kwang Hyok, commander of the KPA Air Force, and Air Marshal Om Ju Ho, political commissar of the KPA Air Force, and extended warm congratulations to all the service personnel of the Air Force.

The DPRK national anthem was solemnly played.

The head of the guard of honour of the KPA Air Force made a salute.

Kim Jong Un paid militant salute to the colours of the KPA Air Force and its subordinate units shining with legendary military feats and reviewed the guard of honour of the KPA Air Force.

Commanding officers of the combined air units at all levels of the Air Force, pilots, commanding officers of arms and missile soldiers raised stormy cheers of hurrah, looking up to the Supreme Commander.

Kim Jong Un warmly congratulated them on the auspicious holiday of the people's Air Force and warmly waved back to them.

Leading officials of the Party and the military attended the ceremony of welcoming Kim Jong Un.

Then Kim Jong Un went up to the observation platform and watched the demonstration flight of the Air Force marking the Day of Air Men.

Planes of heroic pilots of the DPRK took off one after another with deafening sound to significantly celebrate the holiday.

He warmly encouraged the proud girl pilots An Ok Gyong and Son Ju Hyang, watching their demonstration flight in two-plane formation.

Pilots of the Air Force, who were making demonstration flight in the presence of Kim Jong Un on the significant founding anniversary, displayed their skillful flying technique to the full, giving off beautiful tricolour vapour trails and setting off fireworks in the clear and blue sky of the country.

Kim Jong Un encouraged and gave warm salute to the pilots each time whenever they displayed different combat aviation with flexible control.

The pilots flied at low altitude over the observation platform to express their absolute loyalty to and the most ardent trust in Kim Jong Un.

Kim Jong Un met the pilots after the demonstration flight and shook hands with every one of them, praising them for demonstrating high level of aviation capable of perfectly carrying out any combat mission.

Highly appreciating the aviation displayed by the girl pilots, Kim Jong Un said that they are proud comrades representing the women of the country and hoped that they would remain faithful to their duties with the honour of the Air Force and the dignity of the women of this country.

The confrontation in the sky, which must be settled only by victors and losers, life and death, is a confrontation of ideology and faith before being a confrontation of arms and equipment and the victory in the battle is decided not by the ultra-modern fighters but by pilots armed with indomitable spirit, he said, adding that it is the great strength and pride of our Party, state and people to have an elite Air Force with the overwhelming political and ideological might incomparable with any army of other countries. And he had a photo taken with the pilots.

Then he had a significant photo session with the service personnel of the KPA Air Force on the occasion of its 80th founding anniversary.

Every honorable flight path of the people's Air Force which has made the long journey of sacred defence in the last 80 years since it was founded as the flying corps of new Korea under the leadership of the Party was a world-startling legend, he said, adding that the myths of the invincible Air Force recorded in the high and clear sky are brilliantly shining in the history of the country as a symbol of high ideological and mental power, indomitable fighting spirit and heroism of our army.

He affirmed that the blue sky of the country would always be peaceful and the mightiness of the Air Force would be immortal as we have reliable service personnel of the Air Force who are performing feats during their flights of loyalty, dedicating their lives without hesitation both in the grim moments or peaceful days.

At the end of the photo session, the sky of November reverberated with thunderous shouts from the service personnel of the Air Force chanting the slogan of death-defying defence to demonstrate their immutable pledge to devote their youth and lives for Kim Jong Un, the sun of eternal life and the sky of destiny, and for the future of the beloved motherland.

A commemorative meeting was held with splendor to mark the 80th founding anniversary of the KPA Air Force in the presence of Kim Jong Un.

Present there were Jo Yong Won, Pak Jong Chon and Jo Chun Ryong, secretaries of the WPK Central Committee, No Kwang Chol, minister of National Defence of the DPRK, and other leading officials of the WPK Central Committee and the Ministry of National Defence, commanding officers, pilots and service personnel of the KPA Air Force and its discharged veterans.

Kim Jong Un met the discharged generals who were specially invited to the celebrations of the Day of Air Men and highly appreciated the devoted life and feats of the veteran generals of the Air Force who devoted their whole life to strengthening the defence capability of the country's airspace.

Air Chief Marshal Kim Kwang Hyok, commander of the KPA Air Force, made a commemorative report.

The reporter referred to the pride of the 80-year-long history of the air forces which have grown along with the sacred history of the Party as the first service founded under the care of the great WPK and waged a honorable struggle for the country, the revolution and the people, and to the militant course of the Air force which has developed into a core service of the People's Army under the leadership of the Party.

In the great era of Kim Jong Un, our Air Force is enjoying the greatest heyday of invincibleness and development as an ever-victorious heroic service, he said, adding that thanks to the great ambition and energetic leadership of the respected Supreme Commander who puts forward the strengthening of the Air Force as a crucial requirement for building a powerful army, a new era of developing the Air Force into the elite forces is being ushered in and the politico-ideological might of the Air Force and its full combat capability are being fully demonstrated.

He stressed that it is the greatest happiness of the service personnel of the Air Force to hold in high esteem the great brilliant commander, the great father who instills in them an unshakable revolutionary faith and strong will to defend the country unto death in any adversity, a courage and pluck to pierce through the clouds in countless layers and endless shower of bullets without hesitation and wisdom and bravery for sure victory and meticulously leads them.

Saying that the most powerful group of revolutionary soldiers demonstrating their might as the strong army for devotedly defending the Party Central Committee, the elite armed forces-this is a valuable appellation the country and the people gave to the Air Force which has always flown along the route of loyalty for 80 years and a great honor to be preserved forever by all the officers and men of the Air Force, the reporter ardently called upon all of them to more courageously fight for the eternal prosperity of the country and the security of the people, the immortal prestige and glory of the KPA Air Force, true to the ideas and leadership of Kim Jong Un.

Kim Jong Un made a significant speech on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the KPA Air Force.

Saying that he is pleased to attend the celebrations to recollect the proud history of the Air Force and pay tribute to its great 80-year-long journey, he extended warm congratulations to the valiant pilots significantly greeting the founding anniversary of the Air Force of the DPRK and all the service personnel of the Air Force who are now struggling for the defense of the airspace and the wellbeing of the people.

He said that he is proud of the founding year of the Air Force which coincides with the one of the Workers' Party of Korea as the numbers etched on the colours of the Air Force tell, and its reputation as the first-born service of the People's Army and moreover, he can not but feel reverence for its honorable militant flights for 80-long years. He noted that no rhetoric can represent the long and glorious history in which the Air Force has covered its course since it was founded and all its noble and heroic undertakings.

The Air Force should be counted first when we talk about a witness to the victories of the sacred defence struggle in the two centuries, he said, adding that among the three services of the KPA it has experienced more actual battles than other services in peacetime, not in wartime, and produced more than 130 heroes, including two double heroes, and dozens of hero units and sub-units since the first pilot hero of the KPA emerged. This clearly shows that the Air Force has always stood at the forefront of the struggle to protect the sovereignty and national interests, and that its distinguished military feats are holding the most brilliant place in the course of the development of the KPA, he said.

He expressed his deep affection for the Air Force which has stood by him at the crucial moments that decided the destiny and future of the state and the people and guaranteed reliable security through the absolute execution without any mistake. He noted that the mission of all the services and arms of the KPA to defend the sovereignty was heavy and they received orders with the same voice, but any military group was no match for the Air Force in terms of the unconditional and perfect implementation of the orders. And the appellation of the first-born service, the eldest service of the KPA is the proud honour it gained as it was founded first in the history of building the regular armed forces of the country and the service personnel of the Air Force performed distinguished feats by always carrying out on time without fail the duty which is more important than the ones of the other services and the arms, he noted.

Once ordered, our pilots never thought of their lives and their dogfight skills and the legendary tales about their air battles were the fruits of the bravery and heroism of the invincible pilots, he said. Even in the face of serious military threats and the irresistible natural disasters, they successfully carried out the orders without thinking of their only lives, and thus performed the unprecedented miracles and feats, he noted, adding this is the immortal characteristic peculiar to the Air Force.

Saying that the operating area of the Air Force includes the inviolable airspace, land and waters and places of great changes, he noted that the appellation of the Air Force will as ever shine in the vanguard of leading the whole army in the worthwhile struggle calling for the feats of the revolutionary army.

Noting that the Air Force will be given new strategic military assets and entrusted with a new important duty, he said that the expectations of the Party and the country for the Air Force which will play a role in the exercise of the nuclear war deterrent are very great, and that the Air Force should resolutely repulse and control all sorts of espionage acts and possible military provocations of the enemies to encroach upon the sovereign airspace of the DPRK with the overwhelming spiritual strength and offensive spirit.

Saying that he firmly believes that the sky of the country will be blue and the country will be in peace forever thanks to the pilots and he extends thanks to them for displaying the service spirit of always remaining faithful to the country, he wished the heroic Air Force military feats and the pilots good health.

Announcing that the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK adopted a decree on awarding the honourable Order of Kim Jong Il to the Air Force marking its 80th founding anniversary at the proposal of the Central Committee and the Central Military Commission of the WPK, he said that he would convey a joint congratulatory message of the Central Committee and the Central Military Commission of the WPK.

All the participants raised enthusiastic cheers of "Hurrah!", looking up to the respected Supreme Commander who has repeatedly shown deep love and trust in the Air Force, glorifying its 80-year-long history at the zenith of the most worthy dignity and honour.

He conveyed the joint congratulatory message of the Central Committee and the Central Military Commission of the WPK to the KPA Air Force marking its 80th founding anniversary and conferred Order of Kim Jong Il, the highest order of the DPRK, on it.

He awarded the certificate of order to the commander of the Air Force and fixed Order of Kim Jong Il on the colours of the KPA Air Force.

All the participants witnessed with deep emotion and joy the historic moment to be specially recorded in the history of the development of the Juche-oriented air forces.

Warmly congratulating the enthusiastically cheering service personnel of the Air Force, Kim Jong Un expressed belief that all the pilots, commanding officers and service personnel of the brave air forces would glorify the 80-year-long proud history inscribed in the glorious colours with myths of continuous victory and firmly defend the dignity of the DPRK and happiness of its people.

Then an art performance was given at the Myongsasimni Theatre to mark the 80th anniversary of the founding of the KPA Air Force.

Kim Jong Un enjoyed the performance together with officers and men of the Air Force.

Put on the stage were numbers praising the feats performed by the heroic people's Air Force which has demonstrated its honour as the ranks of elite soldiers firmly armed with the ideas and will of the WPK, the ranks of strong soldiers that always win victory in every battle and the ranks of point-men who make a breakthrough in socialist construction.

The audience were deeply moved by the stirring songs of the revolutionary army expressing the firm will of the service personnel of the Air Force who would set the eternal coordinates of their life on the flight path of defending the Party Central Committee unto death and glorify the immortal appellation of the great Kim Jong Un's Air Force and its ever-victorious history forever.

The performance was acclaimed by the audience as it impressively represented through excellent artistic depiction the high ideological and spiritual world of the service personnel of the KPA Air Force and their devoted service for the country and the people.

That evening the Ministry of National Defence of the DPRK hosted a banquet to mark the 80th anniversary of the founding of the KPA Air Force.

Present there on invitation were military and political commanding officers at all levels of the KPA Air Force, pilots, service personnel and discharged generals.

Kim Jong Un attended the banquet together with leading officials of the Central Committee of the WPK and commanding officers of the Ministry of National Defence.

The venue of the banquet was wrapped in warm feelings of blood ties between the leader and the soldiers forged in the militant journey for defending the sacred sovereignty of our state and strengthening the capability for defending the airspace.

The commanding officers and pilots of the Air Force expressed thanks to Kim Jong Un who bestows all kinds of loving care and privileges on the service personnel of the Air Force, spending the whole day together with them. They vowed to become the most brilliant star for defending the country and the revolution, fully demonstrating the might of the lifeguards of the Party Central Committee and the DPRK.

The celebrations of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the KPA Air Force held with splendor in the presence of Kim Jong Un marked a significant occasion in demonstrating the unshakable faith and will of the heroic people's Air Force to steadily carry forward the glorious tradition of loyalty and feats and firmly guarantee the history of the great succession of the Juche revolution forever as befitting the first-born service of our revolutionary armed forces. -0-

Speech by Dr Dermot Hudson to the Meeting ‘Stand of the DPRK and its People for Self-Reliance and against Imperialist Intervention’ 15.11.2025

Thank you for inviting me to speak , I am here on behalf of the Korean Friendship Association UK (KFA UK ) which defends People’s Korea with No Ifs or Buts . I would like to briefly mention that November 13th was the 25th anniversary of the foundation of the international Korean Friendship Association of which KFA UK is a key part .

The purpose of the foundation of the KFA back in November 2000 was to provide a voice for People’s Korea , to act as a the sword and shield of People’s Korea in the Western world . In those days there was not a single page with DPRK official information but just fake propaganda from the CIA World Fact Book and the south Korean puppet regime. President Cao de Benos decided to change that situation and requested permission from the DPRK to build the first ever page with direct connection with the country. That  is how the website korea-dpr.com was created.

Since its formation KFA has unswervingly defended People’s Korea against imperialist propaganda.

Anyway to address the subject of the meeting namely the Stand of the DPRK and its People for Self-Reliance and against Imperialist Intervention I will say the following .It appears that this meeting today is being held at the same time as  a meeting on Venezuela which appears to be under the threat of imminent invasion by the US imperialists who are stripping away the mask of peace to reveal themselves as aggressors . Indeed President KIM IL SUNG once said that " US IMPERIALISM IS THE MOST BARBAROUS AND SHAMELESS AGGRESSOR OF MODERN TIMES, THE MAIN FORCE OF AGGRESSION AND WAR,THE RINGLEADER OF WORLD REACTION, THE BULWARK OF MODERN COLONIALISM, THE STRANGLER OF NATIONAL LIBERATION AND INDEPENDENCE AND THE DISTURBER OF WORLD PEACE".

 We must not forget or lose sight of  that People’s Korea too faces threats from US imperialism namely the presence of over 30,000 troops in the Republic of Korea or south Korea as well as nuclear weapons deployed in and around the Korean peninsula . It also like Venezuela faces sanctions ; both the DPRK and Venezuela are sanctioned by the US , UK and EU but the DPRK also faces sanctions by the UN Security Council . 

However  the DPRK is not blowing up DPRK fishing boats or not yet anyway!. Of course had Venezuela had its nukes like the DPRK , it maybe would not face such an acute and imminent threat from the US imperialists . Indeed if Syria had nukes maybe Assad would still be in power . The so-called “denuclearisation “ of the DPRK is a regime change tool which actually means the ‘decommunisation ‘ or ‘desocialisation “ of the DPRK , lets make no mistake about it . In fact denuclearisation would mean the colonisation by imperialism of the DPRK.

In his speech to the  13th Session of the 14th Supreme People's Assembly of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea(DPRK) on the 21st of September ;respected Marshal KIM JONG UN said that  "We will never lay down our nukes." and that “There will be no negotiations, and never at that, with our enemy states to exchange something with them, obsessed with trying to get free from their sanctions.”

The DPRK does not rely on other countries for its defence  and is indeed self-reliant on all fields because it regards self-reliance as the cornerstone of its revolutionary strategy . Self-reliance is not a short term tactic or simply a response  to the US sanctions . As respected Marshal KIM JONG UN  said to the 1st session of the 14th Supreme People’s Assembly  “ Whatever wind may blow and whatever challenges and difficulties may lie ahead, our Republic will, in the future, too, make no concession or compromise over the issues concerning the fundamental interests of our State and people. It will resolve everything on the strength of self-reliance and self-development, stepping up the building of a powerful socialist country in our own way and by our own efforts."

Self reliance is a key part of the practical implementation of the Juche  idea . The Juche idea stipulates that the following guiding principles should be adopted in the revolution and construction ; Juche in ideology , independence in politics , self-sufficiency in the economy and self-reliance in defence .

Visiting People’s Korea in October we witnessed first hand the achievements of self-reliance  we saw that Pyongyang was a blaze of light and colour at night . The imperialists are lying when they say that there is no electricity in the DPRK . Rather than “everyone starving “ , we saw no homeless or beggars on the streets  and the guide for another delegation said that people get free housing and food only costs 0.3 dollars per month , just compare that to the UK  !!! No comment . Now the construction of the 4th stage of Hwasong Street is under way , I saw  it with my own eyes . This rapid development is being carried out under conditions of intense sanctions by the imperialists as well as natural disasters and the DPRK’s border being closed for 4 years due to the global health crisis . This development is being achieved without outside help, ‘aid’ or foreign capital . It is a miracle of self-reliance and shows what a socialist country can do when it relies on its own resources and believes in itself. That is basically Juche and self-reliance .

During the visit we were  able to attend the It was my first time to attend a DPRK military parade at night , previously I had only attended parades during the day time . This parade was not held under easy or ideal conditions but in the rain and wind . Other countries would not have been able to do this but People’s Korea , Korea of Juche was able to do this .  We witnessed  the new type Hwasong 20 ICBMs that looked massive . A friend from Italy turned to me and  said “That is for Washington “ , so lets focus on the issue of self-reliance in national defence .

Marshal KIM JONG UN put forward the line of building the economy and nuclear force in parallel -which is sometimes referred to as Pyongjin at the historic March 2013 plenary meeting of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea.Only People’s Korea had the line of building the economy and nuclear force in parallel. Marshal KIM JONG UN declared that “As long as the imperialists’ nuclear threat exists, we must keep up simultaneously carrying on the economic construction and the upbuilding of the nuclear forces as an immutable line and further consolidate the nuclear deterrents."

The line of building the nuclear force and economy was put forward when the US imperialists and world reactionary forces were running wild to stifle People’ Korea. The US imperialists and south Korean fascist puppets carried out nuclear war exercises one after the other . At the same time the UN Security Council  imposed sanctions on the DPRK for the mere fact that it had launched its own satellite the Kwangmyongsong 3-2 in December 2012. The situation demanded that the DPRK take measures to defend its independence , its system ( the people-centred socialist system and its very existence . Independence cannot be defended by words alone.During the period from the collapse of the USSR at the beginning of the 1990s we have seen countless invasions and interventions by US imperialism most notably the Yugoslav War , the 20 year long occupation of Afghanistan and the Iraq War .

The line of building the nuclear force and economy in parallel is a modern application of the original , independent , Juche based line of building the economy and defence in parallel that was put forward by the great leader President KIM IL SUNG in 1962 .President KIM IL SUNG keenly realised that the DPRK could not rely on other countries for its defence. An example can be given of the Cuban Missile Crisis in which the revisionist USSR betrayed Cuba by capitulating to US imperialism and pulling out the missiles.Thanks to the implementation of the Pyongjin line, Juche Korea raced across the nuclear  finishing line and became a proud member of the nuclear club which consists of a small number of countries such as the US, UK ,France , Russia , China , Israel , India and Pakistan . Similarly the ICBM club  is an elite exclusive club of just  6 or 7 countries . The DPRK has both its own ICBMs and Nukes , more importantly it has total control over them, it does not have to ask the permission of another country to fire its ICBMs nor does any other country have a second key to operate the DPRK's nuclear weapons.

In recent years there have been more leaps forward in national defence building such as big advances in missile technology including missiles that can strike the US , the launch of a military reconnaissance satellite , the test of underwater drones and this year saw the launch of 2 new type naval destroyers.

There is no doubt that without self-reliance in national defence the DPRK would have fallen victim to another war .

I would also like to see a few words about the recent changes to the DPRK’s policy on inter-Korean relations and reunification . I think it is important to provide clarification but also the new stance towards the south -the ROK , is an important assertion of the DPRK will to maintain and secure its socialist system and to rely on itself .

The DPRK and Workers Party of Korea changed its policy on reunification at the 9th plenary meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers Party of Korea in December 2023 .

Recently respected Marshal KIM JONG UN addressed the 13th session of the 14th term Supreme People’s Assembly of the DPRK on the 21st of September last . His speech gave a further in depth clarification of the policy of the DPRK on reunification and its stance towards the Republic of Korea (ROK) also known as south Korea .

Reunification is actually impossible because as respected Marshal KIM JONG UN pointed out  “The ROK is a deformed entity with hemiplegia and a colonial tributary whose all fields have been Americanized, a foreign country that has thoroughly become heterogeneous.

It is a matter of course that as water and fire can never fuse into one, the independent politics and the sycophantic and treacherous politics cannot concur, the independent defence and the subordinate defence cannot merge with each other, the self-reliant economy and the colonial contract economy cannot combine, and the socialist culture and the Yankee culture cannot go together."

Indeed  it is impossible to merge the DPRK's independent , Juche -based self-reliant socialist system with the neo-colonial dependent corrupt capitalist system in the south.

The ROK’s constitution states that the territory of the ROK covers the entire Korean peninsula . Respected Marshal KIM JONG UN said that “ Though government has changed more than ten times and the Constitution undergone revision nine times in the ROK so far, nothing has changed in the territory-related article of the Constitution, which is aimed at invading and annexing the DPRK. And although the National Security Law has been revised several times, the article concentratedly reflecting hostility towards the DPRK has not undergone even the slightest revision”

The cost to the people of the DPRK if so-called "reunification “ was imposed on them would be beyond any kind of  calculation ; it would mean the end of the socialist system resulting in mass unemployment , poverty , homelessness and all sorts of social ills . Therefore the DPRK is right to reject this .

The DPRK regards the ROK as an enemy and the most hostile state . This is based on reality because ever since it has existed the ROK has schemed to undermine the DPRK and overthrow the socialist system.

The new ROK puppet ruler Lee Jae Myung has been blathering about ‘peace ‘ and ‘improvement ‘ of relations but there is a dagger hidden behind his back ,so called denuclearisation . When Trump met the puppet Lee Jae Myung in October they did not publicise at the time that they had adopted a declaration which called for “"complete denuclearization" of the DPRK as well as for increases in ROK military spending the building of nuclear submarines .

Therefore  DPRK is totally correct not to speak to the ROK and reject the fake peace overtures of the ROK puppets!

To conclude let’s defend People’s Korea with no ifs or buts ! 

 

Upbringing of Children Guaranteed by Law

In December 1954, the United Nations General Assembly designated November 20 as the World Children’s Day at its 9th Session with a view to making greater efforts for the rights and well-being of the children who are the masters of the future.

Nursing and upbringing of children is one of criteria for evaluating the future of a certain society as well as its commitment to human rights.

In the DPRK, children are highly valued and cared as the kings and queens of the country and brought up into future masters and strong pillars of the state, pursuant to the state law which stipulates that all children should be reared at State and public expense.

The Law of the DPRK on the Nursing and Upbringing of Children stipulates as follows:

“The State shall rear all children in nurseries and kindergartens at State and public expense.”

Wherever there are children, the DPRK has nurseries, kindergartens and schools, even in the mountainous regions and far-flung islands, not to mention the urban and rural areas. And from here, children are lively growing up into the future masters.

The DPRK has set it as an important policy to provide the coming generations with happy life and has strongly pushed ahead with it without being affected by conditions.

The endless happy laughter of our children owes to such grateful socialist system.

Around the world, there are not a few countries where children are becoming the first victims of war and all sorts of social evils and reduced to marginalized group.

Japan annually records countless cases of child abuse and high child mortality rate. On November 8, there was a horrible incident where a mother in Osaka killed her two-year-old daughter in a flat.

There is no future for the country which neither loves nor cares for posterity.

Our children are the happiest ones in the world as they are growing up under the warm care of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who is endowed with the love for posterity, and the future of our country is so bright.

KCNA Commentary on U.S. Reckless Military Maneuvers Indicating Origin of Instability of Regional Situation

Pyongyang, November 28 (KCNA) -- The U.S. reckless military moves that started at the very beginning of this year, gravely threatening the strategic stability in and around the Korean peninsula, are becoming more blatant even in the closing days of the year.

Recently the U.S. and the ROK staged an anti-special operation naval drill in the waters near Phyongthaek, Kyonggi Province under the pretext of countering someone's "infiltration" by mobilizing a guided missile destroyer, anti-submarine helicopters, sea-patrol planes and other naval and air forces.

And the U.S. has additionally deployed F-16 fighters to the Osan Air Base in Kyonggi Province, as part of the second-stage operational test of the "super-powerful wing", to intensify the joint operational capability.

The U.S. is running amuck in its moves to increase the operational capability of two "super-powerful wings" it formed after forward-deploying F-16 fighters from the Kunsan Air Base in the ROK and the Misawa Air Base in Japan to the Osan Air Base only 64km from Seoul. It is an irrefutable fact that it is aimed at deterring the DPRK and regional countries by force and securing air superiority in contingency.

The U.S.-ROK military drills and arms buildup targeting independent sovereign states in the region are not confined to the Korean peninsula.

According to the media, the U.S. and the ROK launched the combined anti-submarine warfare exercises "Silent Shark" involving submarines and sea-patrol planes in the waters near Guam on Nov. 18 and the U.S. marines set up the Forward Arming and Refueling Point on Yonagni Island, Japan, within hailing distance of the Taiwan Strait on Nov. 21.

Meanwhile, the U.S. often talked about "freedom of navigation" is going to stage the "Proliferation Security Initiative" drill in the sea of Japan from early December, together with its vassal forces including Japan and the ROK, aimed at violating the legitimate right of other countries to navigate and realizing the complete sea blockade.

The U.S. habitual and reckless military moves in disregard of the repeated concerns of the international community clearly indicate where the origin of the instability of the regional situation is and who is the performer of the "unilateral changes to status quo" advocated by it.

Through the military moves of the U.S. and the ROK, the regional countries are correctly diagnosing the essence of the "improved relations with regional countries" and "stability of situation" that they call for externally.

The stereotyped expression of "regular drill" can never cover up the aggressive nature of the provocative acts with extreme belligerence and offensive nature and the fact that the U.S. is just an evil factor fostering the possibility of armed conflict.

The U.S. is the chieftain threatening the peace and stability and destroying the strategic security balance. This fact has already been settled as an absolute value in the perception of the independent sovereign states in the region.

It is the consistent principle and immutable stand of the DPRK to be prepared for countering the confrontation-oriented moves of the enemy states and any development of the situation that may result from them.

We have already made it clear that all threats encroaching upon our sphere of security will become direct targets of the DPRK and be managed in a necessary way.

The DPRK will further devote itself to defending its national sovereignty and interests and protecting the regional peace and stability through the exercise of its essential rights as the U.S. continues to renew its record in the demonstration of its military strength threatening the regional countries. -0-

BGSJI and KFA UK on the 8th anniversary of the Hwasong 15 ICBM Test

The   British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea(BGSJI, the Korean Friendship Association of the UK (KFA UK)  issued a joint statement on the 8th anniversary of the successful Hwasong -15 test fire :

             

On the 28th of November it will be the 8th   anniversary of the  successful test fire of the Hwasong 15 Intercontinental Ballistic Missile by the DPRK in the presence of respected Marshal KIM JONG UN .

   The Hwasong 15 test signified that the task of completing the state nuclear force of the DPRK had been completed and that the DPRK was entering a new stage of the revolution in which it could concentrate efforts on economic construction and improving people's living standards.

The Hwasong 15 launch  showed the advance of the DPRK in nuclear and missile technology was unstoppable no matter what sanctions the hostile forces imposed. Secondly , it demonstrated the correctness of the line of building the economy and nuclear force in parallel. Thirdly, it was testimony to the vitality of the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance and the self-development first idea .  Fourthly, it was a manifestation of the validity and vitality of the Juche Idea . Some  reactionaries and revisionists like to pour cold water on the Juche Idea but the success of the Hwasong 15  proved them wrong.

 Thanks to the completion of building the state nuclear force the DPRK was able to negotiate 

  We salute the 8th anniversary of the Hwasong 15 ICBM launch ,  great victory for independence , peace , progress and Juche-based socialism. Peace has been secured by the DPRK ICBMs !

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Gives Field Guidance at Construction Site of Sinuiju Combined Greenhouse Farm Nearing Completion

Pyongyang, November 27 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, gave field guidance at the construction site of the Sinuiju Combined Greenhouse Farm nearing completion on Nov. 26.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un was accompanied by Jo Yong Won and Pak Jong Chon, secretaries of the WPK Central Committee, Kim Jae Ryong and Kim Yong Su, department directors of the WPK Central Committee, and Kim Chol Sam, chief secretary of the North Phyongan Provincial Committee of the WPK.

Kim Jong Un was greeted on the spot by commanding officers of the units of the Korean People's Army and officials of the Paektusan Hero Youth Shock Brigade and designing and relevant institutions involved in the construction.

He went round such main buildings as dome-shaped glass hydroponic greenhouse and greenhouses on soil, trunk road in the area of the farm, embankment construction site, etc. to learn in detail about their progress.

Thanks to the devoted labor of the army units and the youth shock brigade members in the honorable day-and-night struggle for creation to greet the glorious Party Congress, the overall construction of the Sinuiju Combined Greenhouse Farm is vigorously progressing at 97 percent. After the completion of the land leveling for the greening and the creation of a windbreak forest in the farm area, the land leveling of the areas around the natural parks and reservoir has been carried out at 97 percent and 87 percent respectively, the planting of turfs in the areas covering several hundred hectares at 95 percent and the pavement of trunk road in the farm area and roads in the greenhouse sections at 72 percent. And the farm is now making trial runs of the electric power, water supply and drainage systems for greenhouses, vegetable science research center, public buildings such as hostel, neighborhood-serving amenity, nursery and kindergarten and hundreds of dwellings.

According to the Party's decision, all the projects for the development of this area have progressed on the principle of optimization to ensure profitability, he said, adding that, in particular, the improvements of the vast surrounding area such as road construction and landscaping in permanent embankment section have been carried out at a high qualitative level to preserve the features of the region and it is really good. He noted with great satisfaction that the islet, once called a barren land, has turned into a golden islet with great potential for leading the regional development and the improvement of the material and cultural life of the local people.

Noting that we are witnessing the great changes in the region, which can never be neglected, he said that it is a pleasure to implement the grandiose plans and tasks for the comprehensive rejuvenation one by one and increase the wealth of creation but what our Party values more than it is that the young people are growing up to be the great cedars of patriotism in this course. He underscored that it is a pleasure and pride of our Party, state and people incomparable with fabulous wealth in the world that the new generations responsible for the future of this Korea have grown up to be the large unit of patriots who believe the motherland counts more than anything and feel the pride of doing revolution despite ordeals.
