Pyongyang, April 22 (KCNA) -- Japanese politicians flocked to the Yasukuni Shrine once again.
On April 21, the spring ancestral rite day, Prime Minister Kishida and the minister of Health, Labor and Welfare offered Sakaki trees to the Yasukuni Shrine and about 90 Dietmen, including the chairperson of the election committee of the Liberal Democratic Party, kowtowed to the Class-A criminals buried in the shrine.
Such visit that takes place in Japan, a war criminal state, on several occasions every year is a mockery of human conscience and justice and a manifestation of revanchism to embellish the past wars of aggression and avenge its defeat.
It is well known that Japan is dreaming of reinvasion instead of peace and working hard to realize its erstwhile wild ambition for building the "Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere".
It is clearly proven by the recent behavior of the Japanese reactionaries.
Japan has revised three security-related documents including the "national security strategy" to the effect that Japan is allowed to have access to "counterattack capability" (capability for attacking the enemy base). Furthermore, it is going to allocate 2 percent of its GDP for "defense", a drastic increase.
Its authorities were closeted with the south Korean puppets, where they decided to resume keeping to the general security of military intelligence agreement (GSOMIA) last March, out of its ulterior intention to pave the path for collecting military intelligence needed for reinvasion.
Japan is busy purchasing latest war hardware including U.S.-made Tomahawk cruise missiles under the pretext of securing the "counterattack capability" and adding new missile capability to all Aegis ships to step up the arms buildup of the "Self-Defense Forces".
Today Japan's military forces have already turned into the perfect offensive forces beyond the level of territorial defence.
Shortly ago, Kishida said at a full-dress meeting of the House of Representatives that given the sufficient conditions for the use of armed forces, Japan can exercise its capability for counterattack. This clearly proves Japan's reinvasion scenario.
Worse still, the Japanese rulers openly revealed their intention to revive the old position of Japan dating back to the imperial era at any cost by praising the top class war criminals as "cornerstones of peace and prosperity" and expressing "thanks" and "respect" for them after the group visit to the shrine.
The international community is closely following every move of Japan, a dangerous force of aggression in Asia.
The Japanese reactionaries are bound to face international isolation and destruction only for persisting in paying tributes to the shrine and inciting revanchism and reinvasion.
Japan should awake from the foolish daydream for repeating its crime-woven history. -0-
