Fruitless Scheme

 

South Korean mass media and experts on north Korean affairs cast the blame on new sanctions against north Korea under discussion by the hostile elements as an unworkable and foolish one.   

North Korea has been under constant sanctions, however, north Korea has made their "sanctions" go up in smoke, the south Korean mass media said.

It is clear that no sanctions can make sense with north Korea. Numerous sanctions being applied against north Korea prove fruitless.  

Now that north Korea has no economic exchange with south Korea, independent sanctions against north Korea is of little avail.   

It is obvious that "joint sanctions" and "multipartite sanctions" against north Korea being much touted by the US and Japan are empty talk.

It is ridiculous that the south Korean authorities are talking about sanctions unworkable on north Korea, the south Korean mass media commented.
