Why People's Korea did not congratulate Biden .....

On the 8th of November , south Korean chief executive Moon Jae In sent a message of congratulations to Joe Biden, the incoming US president . Earlier the south Korean puppet state news agency Yonhap even printed an article by Biden .

By contrast the DPRK has not sent a message of congratulations to Biden nor made any comment whatsoever on the US election . Why is this ? Some might argue that this is because there are no formal diplomatic relations between the DPRK and the US . However there has been on-off engagement between the DPRK and US and even summits between the DPRK and US .

The reason is that the DPRK, unlike south Korea, does not need to read the face of another and is not affected by what happens in the US . South Korea is totally dependent on the US , a colony of the US . South Korea is the outpost of the American global empire in north east Asia South Korea would not last for a minute without the US . For south Korea the changing of the guard at the colonial emperor's palace , the US White House is a matter of vital importance . They cannot afford to offend or upset whoever rules the US .

The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea has existed for 72 years without the US , in fact with the opposition of the US in the form of sanctions , blockades and even war . The DPRK does not need the US and does not need to curry favour with this or that US leader .

The south Korean regime is captivated by the ideology of flunkeyism , of looking up to big powers such as the US , Japan and China , depending on them and fawning on them . The DPRK , however , is guided by the Juche idea , an independent ideology . It does not flatter others and read their face.  It will make any decision about its policy towards the new US administration on the basis of independence and serving the interests of the Korean people.
