Pyongyang, November 2 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Wednesday carries a by-lined article dedicated to the 17th anniversary of the publication of leader Kim Jong Il's work "Socialism Is a Science".
The work, published on November 1, Juche 83(1994), comprehensively clarifies the absolute advantages of socialism over capitalism, the limitation of the preceding socialist theory, the originality of the Juche-oriented socialist theory and the inevitability of victory in Korean-style socialism centered on the popular masses.
If there are people, there is the idea of socialism and if socialism remains, independence and justice exist, the article says, stressing socialism is sure to emerge victorious as it is the independent desire of the people and their will.
Korean socialism represents a big family in which all its members are united in single mind. This family wins one victory after another thanks to the driving force of the Songun revolution which makes steady progress under the leadership of the party and the leader. Under this socialism the revolutionary principle of collectivism has been firmly adhered to in all fabrics of social life and the people's worthwhile life and happiness have been brought into full bloom thanks to the leader's politics of loving care and trust, it notes.
The driving force of the Korean revolution has grown stronger in every way since the historic Conference of the Workers' Party of Korea, it says, adding:
The army and the people have dynamically advanced toward a new victory of the Juche revolution while sharing the same thought and will with the headquarters of the revolution and keeping pace with them.
In the ongoing advance for a great surge the Korean people have boosted the comradely cooperation and unity at every unit and post under the slogan "One for All and All for One!", thus fully displaying popular heroism in socialist construction.
Absolute and steadfast are the support and confidence of the Korean people in the mother party which has created an epic of great loving care and devotion to the people under the slogan "We Serve the People!" despite the grave trials of history. -0-
