The Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK, Juche Idea Study Group of England and UK Korean Friendship Association issued the following joint statement condemning the so-called "UK-ROK joint statement " signed during the so-called state visit of fascist puppet chief executive Park Geun Hye ;
Our organisations totally and unequivocally condemn the so-called "UK ROK
joint statement " which does absolutely to further friendship between the peoples of Britain and Korea and nothing to further the cause of Korean reunification based on independence .It is simply a declaration of support by the ruling circles of the UK for the south Korean puppet regime.
Firstly, the "Republic of Korea " is not an independent state but a colony of US imperialism occupied by US troops and is bound by a number of shackling treaties which institutionalise US domination and rule over south Korea. South Korea is not a sovereign republic but a puppet regime created by the US. Park Geun Hye is a puppet of US imperialism who has come to power a coup by stealth orchestrated by the south Korean "National Intelligence Service " on instructions from the US.
Secondly, the so -called there has not been a "130 year " " partnership for peace and prosperity " . Britain was one of the Western capitalist powers that invaded Korea in the 19th and later connived at Japanese aggression against Korea and participated in the barbarous aggressive reactionary imperialist war against the Democratic People's Republic in 1950.
Thirdly, the reactionary British ruling circles are backing up all the anti DPRK moves of the south Korean puppets on a whole range of issues and are co-operating in these anti DPRK schemes . This shows that British imperialism is part of the scheme to stifle Korean -style socialism by by various means .
Fourthly , the DPRK's nuclear deterrent and nuclear programme are its independent and sovereign right not something that Britain should interfere in anyway nor back up those seeking the unilateral and one-sided disarmament of the DPRK. The Cameron government should not interfere in Korea nor support the US imperialists and south Korean puppets.
Finally all forces opposed to war and that love peace in the UK should counter plans for military co-operation between the UK and south Korea which include sending a British warship to south Korea in December. Britain should not be part of anti-DPRK war moves.
Let the "UK ROK joint statement " be put in the dustbin of history.
