ASSPUK, JISGE and UK KFA slam US nuclear threat to the DPRK

ASSOCIATION FOR THE STUDY OF SONGUN POLITICS UK
London 24th of October  Juche 102(2013)

                 The ASSPUK , Juche Idea Study Group of England and the UK Korean  Friendship Association issued a joint statement in support of the principled stand of the DPRK Foreign Ministry expressed in a statement of the 23rd of October;
                                                     It is the the aggressive US imperialists who have thrown  a wet blanket over the peace initiatives of the DPRK,  a socialist country that values peace. The US imperialists have maintained their hostile stance towards the DPRK and have carried out all kinds of war-like moves against the DPRK including dry-run flights of nuclear bombers as well as bringing nuclear-powered aircraft carriers to Korean waters. Basically the US has repeatedly violated the September 19th joint statement and other agreements with the  DPRK. The US moves against the DPRK are a violation of its sovereignty and independence as well as being a grave threat to peace in the Asia-Pacific region.
                               The 'assurances' made by the US are not worth the paper that they are written on. The talk of 'peaceful co-existence ' and 'peaceful  co-operation' is just a deception and a fraud.
             Moreover without a doubt it is the US that is entirely responsible for the so-called nuclear issue on the Korean peninsula as it shipped nuclear weapons into Korea decades ago in violation of the Korean Armistice Agreement . The US introduced more than 1,000 nuclear weapons into Korea and the DPRK is targetted by other US nuclear weaponry both seaborne and airborne. It is the aggressive and hostile policy of the US that compelled the DPRK to have  access to the nuclear deterrent.  Thus it is nonsense for the US to talk about  the DPRK giving up its nuclear programme . The US imperialists are trying to trick or force the DPRK into unilateral disarmament , they are demanding  that the DPRK, in the words of British politican Aneurin Bevan ," goes naked into the conference chamber.". It is absurd for the US to imagine for 1 second that the US would ever do this. The clamour for the unilateral disarmament of the DPRK is a ruse , subterfuge , to invade the DPRK by another means and stifle the people-centred centred socialist system of Juche.
                                                        If the US really wants to see the much vaunted 'denuclearization' of the Korean peninsula then it should cease making nuclear  threats to the DPRK , cease war exercises and pull all of its troops and weapons out of Korea.
We , the ASSPUK, JISGE and UK KFA , declare that it is entirely correct and just for the DPRK to bolster its deterrent force.
