Report of Online Meeting about the KFA International Meeting 02.12.2025

The Korean Friendship Association of the UK (KFA UK ) held a successful online meeting to report back from the KFA International meeting in Granada ,Spain . Participating were members of KFA UK from London , Scotland , Shropshire and other parts of UK as well as guests from KFA Andalusia (Spain ),KFA Cambodia , KFA Germany , the People’s Korea Initiative of Poland and guests from other countries.

Dr Dermot Hudson Chairman of KFA UK explained how he travelled to Granada , Spain for the KFA International meeting . Granada , Spain was selected as the place for the KFA International meeting because it was in Granada , Spain 25 years ago that the Korean Friendship Association was founded by Alejandro Cao De Benos .

Dr Hudson said that KFA has come a long way since it was founded in 2000 and has never looked back since then .

The KFA International Meeting was held on the 22nd of November on the theme of “ DPRK Beacon of Hope for the World and Mankind “ .It was attended by Spanish KFA members from different regions of Spain as well as international delegates from Germany , Hungary , UK and US ; a total of 5 countries represented . A large number of countries submitted written speeches that were read out .

Dr Hudson quoted from the speech of KFA President Alejandro Cao De Benos which said “ The DPRK is the demonstration of what the human can do, when the selfish and animal traces in man, are set aside for the benefit of the common good.

 A regular word that one can see all around the DPRK is "Rakwon" meaning "Paradise". This is because since the liberation and creation of the republic, the dream of our Eternal President KIM IL SUNG was to create a society that will be sovereign, based on equality, free from exploitation and where the Korean people will live a prosperous life in community. 

 His dream became a reality and it's difficult to understand how such a small country could survive against all threats and wars from the attacking empires. Generalissimo KIM IL SUNG devoted his everything for the good of the people, he never looked for himself and found his happiness by making the others happy. This is an example followed by our Great Leaders KIM JONG IL and KIM JONG UN, and that became the basis of unity and strength of today's DPRK.

 As the world get immersed in inequality, criminality, wars, racial, religious conflict and drugs, the DPRK is free from such diseases. How is it possible? Because the Korean people valued their culture, independence and dignity over imported orders and oppression of the big imperialist powers. The creation of Juche, has shown that only by adapting socialism to the reality and culture of each country, it can be successful in breaking apart from the capitalist decadence.”.

After Dr Hudson’s report some suggestions were made for KFA UK work including the production of T shirts.

  The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Kangwon Provincial Tree Nursery in July 2018 despite the sultry weather.

  Looking round different places of the tree nursery, he expressed satisfaction over the fact that another large-scale sapling production base had been built wonderfully.

  And he highly appreciated that Kangwon Province had completed the huge project in a short period of time and laid solid material and technical foundations for safe sapling production.

  He went on to say:

  The province has perfected all the elements of the tree nursery on the highest level. In this course, the construction forces of the province must have been strengthened and the ranks of skilled workers increased.

  I am very pleased to hear that most of the building materials and finishing building materials for the tree nursery were produced by the province itself and the pieces of equipment necessary for the production of light substrate, selection of seeds and sowing manufactured and installed by the State Academy of Sciences and other relevant organs to ensure the proportion of homemade ones.

  I've looked round the Kangwon Provincial Tree Nursery with great satisfaction. It would not have been so easy to build such a large tree nursery when everything was insufficient and difficult. I really admire it.

  That day Kim Jong Un said the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance and self-sufficiency is the driving force enabling us to develop most quickly and our most valuable asset and resources.

  His words represented the philosophy that the way for our country's prosperity and our living lies in displaying the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance.

  Today the Korean people are advancing vigorously towards the overall national prosperity, fully displaying the trait of self-reliance and self-sufficiency.

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Sends Flower Basket to Lao President

Pyongyang, December 2 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, sent a flower basket to Thongloun Sisoulith, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and president of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, on the occasion of the 50th founding anniversary of the LPDR.

The DPRK ambassador to the LPDR courteously handed over the flower basket bearing the august name of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un to an official of the Lao Foreign Ministry, on November 28.

Written on the ribbon of the flower basket were the letters reading "Warm congratulations on the 50th founding anniversary of the Lao People's Democratic Republic". -0-

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Sends Greetings to Lao President

Pyongyang, December 2 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, sent a message of greeting to Thongloun Sisoulith, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party and president of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, on December 2.

The message said:

Dear Comrade,

I extend warm congratulations and greetings to you and, through you, to the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party, the government of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic and the Lao people on the occasion of the 50th founding anniversary of the LPDR.

In the past 50 years after the founding of the LPDR, the Lao people have made remarkable successes in the journey for defending the gains of the socialist revolution, strengthening the people's democratic system and achieving the prosperity and development of the state under the leadership of the LPRP.

Expressing belief that the friendly and cooperative relations between the two parties and the two countries would continue to develop on good terms in conformity with the spirit of the agreement reached at our meeting in Pyongyang, I wish you good health and bigger success in your responsible work. -0-

Ten years have passed since Mangyongdae School Children's Palace was renovated into a modern extracurricular education center thanks to the great love of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

Always considerate and paying deep attention to the upbringing of school children, respected Comrade Kim Jong Un saw to it that extracurricular education centers were either renovated or newly built in many parts of the country and modern equipment installed in education facilities as befits the requirement of the new century, contributing to the education and edification of our schoolchildren.

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited extracurricular education centers like Songdowon International Children’s Camp, Mangyongdae School Children's Palace and Samjiyon School Children’s Palace and gave detailed instructions related to upbringing of our school children into all-round competent personnel. He also took measures to install modern electronic musical instruments free of cost in all palaces and halls for school children across the country.

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said that a moment’s delay in the work for our coming generation will result in the tenfold and hundredfold procrastination in the advance of the country, and that no expense should be spared in bringing up of our future generation. Though pressed for time with so many state affairs, he assumed the responsibility of being the father of all school children across the country and studied the samples of “Haebaragi” (sunflower) school things, “Mindulle” (dandelion) note books, “Sonamu” (pine tree) school bags and new school uniforms in person before a complete set of them is provided to every schoolchild across the country.

Indeed, the great love of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un permeates all schools across the country, be they in the capital or provincial areas, in the mountains or farm villages in the north, or in solitary islands in the sea.

Our school children are growing up happy as they reach their full potential and realize their beautiful dreams, whereas many others elsewhere fail to do so though there are so many countries and as many school children around the world.

Ever bright and rosy is the future of our children as they are growing up in the loving care of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un whose greatest joy and reward is the happy laughter of our children.

British Committee To Remember Chairman KIM JONG IL formed

The British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea(BGSJI) and the  Korean Friendship Association of the UK have decided to form  a British Committee to Remember the Comrade KIM JONG IL who passed  away on the 17th of December 2011.

   The great leader comrade KIM JONG IL was the great successor to the cause of Juche initiated by the great leader President KIM IL SUNG .  Comrade KIM JONG IL was the great defender of independence and socialism who declared "Expect No Change From Me ' . He led the Korean people to build socialism despite the manic challenges of the imperialists .

  Comrade KIM JONG IL  made truly great exploits in  systematizing  and enriching the great Juche Idea .  .

 Comrade KIM JONG IL was a true people's leader who devoted his life for the people 

     Today's Juche Korea which is an inspiration to the people of the world , is the legacy bequeathed by comrade KIM JONG IL . Let us redouble our efforts to defend it .

   Our committee will organise activities such as issuing statements , creating online picture exhibitions and  holding  events  to commemorate the life of the great leader  comrade KIM JONG IL and set the 3rd of December to the 17th of December as a period of remembrance during which we will intensively study the revolutionary activities of the great leader comrade KIM JONG IL.

BGSJI and KFA UK on the 12th anniversary of the defeat of the modern factionalist clique in People's Korea

The British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea (BGSJI)   and the   Korean Friendship Association of the UK (KFA UK  ) a  issued the following statement on the 12th anniversary of the liquidation of the anti-party, counter-revolutionary factional clique in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea(DPRK);

   On the 8th of December it will be some 12 years since the modern day factionalist clique of the anti-party traitor were defeated and liquidated. The DPRK, under the leadership of dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN  defeated an attempt by modern day factionalists to overthrow the state and socialist system of the DPRK. The anti-party counter-revolutionary factionalists were ideologically aligned to US imperialism and world imperialism (also to international revisionism and big power chauvinism ) . The factionalists  would have turned the DPRK into a colony of imperialism . As dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN  said

"The identity of the modern version of factionalist group is that it was an ideologically degenerate entity which was outwardly overcome with fear for the pressure by the imperialists and inwardly contaminated with bourgeois ideology and culture."

The action that the DPRK took was entirely just and correct  as the most dangerous enemy a country can face is the enemy within . One enemy inside is equal to a hundred outside.

The DPRK is on the road of final victory  as Marshal KIM JONG UN said

" Historically speaking, great victory was won in the Fatherland Liberation War after the purge of an anti-Party, counterrevolutionary factionalist clique following the Fifth Plenary Meeting of the Party Central Committee; the Chollima upswing was brought about in the course of eliminating the August 1956 factionalist group; and world-startling successes were achieved in the showdown with the United States and the socialist industrialization drive after the anti-Party revisionists were exposed and purged at the 15th Plenary Meeting of the Fourth Party Central Committee."

Now under the leadership of dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN the DPRK is stepping up anti-imperialist class education  and intensifying the ideological revolution .  The DPRK will be ever-victorious under the leadership of dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN !

   The DPRK is now stepping up education in the revolutionary traditions of Mt Paektu and holding high the banner of self-reliance.

The  12 years since the defeat of the modern factionalist clique have been years of advance and growth which has seen the rapid economic growth of the DPRK and the emergence of People's Korea  as a proud independent  power of Juche. Each day the DPRK grows stronger. Today People's Korea led by respected Marshal KIM JONG UN is stepping up the struggle against anti-socialist acts  and non -socialist practises as well as counter-revolutionary and opportunist ideology.
