 The British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea(BGSJI) and the Korean Friendship Association of the UK (KFA UK )  issued a joint statement in support of the press statement, titled "We clarify our clear stance as we confirmed again the U.S. ulterior intention to be hostile towards our state to the last "made by  comrade  Kim Un Chol, vice-minister for U.S. Affairs of the Foreign Ministry of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea(DPRK) concerning the imposition of sanctions on the DPRK by the US ;

On Tuesday 4th of November the The US Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control imposed sanctions on 2 DPRK companies and 8 DPRK citizens . As the press statement of comrade  Kim Un Chol, the vice minister for US affairs of the DPRK Foreign Ministry points out this is the 5th time that the US has imposed sanctions on the DPRK since the new adminstration of Trump came to power at the beginning of the year .

What these latest sanctions on the DPRK show is that the US has no will to end the hostile policy against the DPRK and that talk of dialogue is basically false . As comrade Kim Un Chol rightfully says "The U.S. has fully betrayed again its wicked nature to be hostile towards the DPRK till the end."

Our organisations believe that if the US was really serious about dialogue and negotiations with the DPRK they would stop imposing sanctions on the DPRK and indeed start to reverse them but the US has shown itself to be two-faced and hypocritical as usual . Indeed the talk of negotiations by the US appears to threadbare and empty .

We support the just stand of the DPRK to counter the US pressure by taking proper measures against the US .
